A big thanks to Satoshi42. I want to give him the credit he deserves cause most of the triggering data are from his thread. Of course I have checked their accuracy.

MY THREAD HAS A WALKTHROUGH YOU MAY USE. I WROTE IT FOR THAT PURPOSE.

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 4/10 (Platinum Difficulty Rating)
  • Offline trophies: 29 (7(B), 17(S), 4(G), 1(P))
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to Platinum: 76-100 (Estimated Time to Platinum)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 including reloading.
  • Number of missable trophies: Technically every trophy except "A Day in the Life" and "Monstrous Power" can be missed; for the normal story: Every Character Sidequest and Ending trophy plus "Haunted Doll?", "Legendary Drunkard", "Fishing Festival" and "Still a Child" can be missed
  • Glitched trophies: No.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No difficulty settings.
  • Do trophies stack?: No.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheat codes.

I. Introduction:

The following posts will help you to succeed in getting your trophies of Atelier Totori The Adventurer of Arland. Almost every trophy in this game is missable because of the fact that you are able to watch the "Bad Ending" very early. You are probably not eager to make this experience and save it for later. On purpose then since you get one important trophy for it.

There are some other trophies which can be missed. Those trophies are not necessary for the hardest Gold trophy, the "True Ending" which already has many conditions. With the Road Map however you should not miss them.

The other missable trophies are the Ending trophies. You need to earn them one after another. The Road Map and the Trophy Guide explain you how to get them. Be sure always to save when it is important so you can reload your save data when it is time to get another Ending trophy.

Friendship Level:

The FLV of the characters is an affection level that counts as one of the major conditions for their respective character events and in the end also their character endings. By the end of the game you should have every character raised to at least FLV 60 as that is necessary for their ending as well. 60 is not the maximum though. You can bring them close to 60, like 58, 59 or something like that and then increase it one by one every time you want a character ending but sínce the True Ending needs you to have at least FLV 60 with everyone at the same time you might as well increase the level more. Be aware though of how that Level works:

The characters have two factors that influence their ending:

How high is their level?

Which character has priority?

What does that mean exactly? It means if you happen to have multiple characters with the same level, then the one with priority will win over the other one. Mimi for example has higher priority than Melvia, thus you will trigger Mimi's eding. However and that is a big however, it does not matter in the slightest what the priority of a character is if the lower priority character has a higher FLV than the higher priority character so keep that in mind. This way it is also easier to not lock yourself out of endings of the lower priority characters.

Recommended & Convenient Items:

There are various items you should have in your inventory at a certain point of the story, while hunting or whatever you do at that time. Never forget that you need to put them into your basket in case you have made them by alchemy (buying/Wholesaling is also possible; that's why I write that) and if your container is not full. Otherwise it will be directly sent into your basket. And you don't want to forget your items, trust me. If you don't mind, then you should always have a Secret Bag in your basket. This will solve the problem completely.

- Bomb

Totori's basic "weapon" since her staff does not deal that much damage unless she has no better equipment from Hagel.

Rated: Very good to begin with in case you don't want Totori to stand around and do nothing.

- Lightning Quartz

A lightning-elemental Bomb Totori can use and which can be made with some helpful abilities.

Rated: My personal favourite of the Bombs. It is not that hard to make, it is not really weaker than the N/A Bomb and with the "Solvent" (Tar Fruit), "Binding" (Chain Web) and enhanced effect abilities it is an extremely useful weapon. Especially when it contains "enhances chance of Critical Hits" abilities as well.

Recommended against the "Must-Defeat Final Boss" Flauschtraut by me.

- N/A

Like the Lightning Quartz, but a fire-elemental Bomb.

Rated: It is a good Bomb item and can also contain the abilities I recommend you to have with a Lightning Quartz. But if you ask me the difference is not worth it. You can use it against the Devil, Ozean Kaiser or whatever, but the effort of making it should not be high since it is not worth it. If you make that Bomb item, then register it with Hagel so you don't have to make it again.

- Iksel Course

A healing item which can solve all your later problems in case it was made by yourself.

Rated: Extremely good. With high quality Fresh Mint items you can make Iksel Course which are way, WAY better than the ones Iksel sells. Register at least one well-made Iksel Course with Iksel. Normally they get cold very fast, so use them with the Secret Bag. I recommend you to use them against the Devil and they should not only have "HP Recovery XL", et cetera, they should also have abilities which enhance their effect, which enhance the chance of a critical hit and abilities like "Usage +1" or "Kid Friendly" which make it possible to use them more often.

- Healing Salve

The basic healing item which should always be in your inventory as long as you are not able to make a way better and also easy producible item.

Rated: A very useful item to begin with and you are lucky to have the possibility to make it from the beginning. Unfortunately it requires Mandra Roots, but Mandragoras are also random enemies around Arland. I would not always run to the Herbal Plains east of Alanya. But I would also not wait for random encounters always. When they occur, they occur. But Pamela sells Mandra Roots with "Bad" quality. Nevertheless the Healing Salves you can make with them should be good. Enough. You want to be a master alchemist so you should be able to make better Healing Salves with the other ingredients.

- Nectar

The basic KO-Recovery item. Same advice as for the Healing Salve.

Rated: Useful. You should not lose too many battles. But at least for the two final bosses you should have some of them.

- Mystery Ankh

An item which can be made with healing abilities, a KO-Recovery ability and also which stat enhancing abilities.

Rated: Wow. I've never used too many of them, actually just when fighting the Devil. But since there is such a variety of abilities you have with this item you should make a good one ("KO-Recovery", "healing effect", "ATK +", et cetera) and register it with Ceci.

There are other items, Search type items which should be made by you as soon as possible since your life becomes way easier once you have them. But normally your Alchemy Level is not high enough during that time, so be sure to save before you try it.

- Speed Gloves

Good for gathering materials since it shortens the time you need for it.

Rated: Not that important for saving time, but definitely worth making. For a 1st Try-Platinum they do not hurt.

- Traveler's Shoes

Shortens the time you need when walking around the world map.

Rated: Like the Speed Gloves. But you should definitely have them as long as you cannot make a Warp Gate.

- Spring Cup

An item which refills after some time and contains copies of Liquid type items you have found already.

Rated: Very, VERY good, if you ask me. It is a fast way to get Cole and actually you can get all Cole you need for the Platinum Trophy within the last month (in case you buy the restocked ones which can be 100 per restocking day; 100 of them with 5 or 6 usages should give you ~125000 Cole).

- Secret Bag

An item which makes it possible for you to use your container everywhere.

Rated: Not that necessary, even though it is convenient. For an easy battle against the Devil you SHOULD DEFINITELY have it.

- Flying Carpet

A flying carpet which reduces the days you lose once you lose a battle to "0" and hinders you from walking back to the last Atelier. Instead you will remain where you are.

Rated: You should not aim for losing a battle. But you never know what comes. Actually it is worth making it.

- Warp Gate

An item which lets you teleport back to Atelier Totori or Atelier Rorona no matter where you are on the World Map.

Rated: The most important item of those if you ask me. Unfortunately you need to wait until the 2nd half of Year 4 (June 1st) and then you have the opportunity to make it, but it saves you much time.

Wholesaling:

Cecilia: Ceci focusses on ordinary items and those you normally use in battle (Supplement, Pure Oil, Healing Salve, Nectar, Gibate Ankh, et cetera).

Pamela: Pamela sells more special items including Search type you don't need that often but once you need one you are glad to have it registered (Spring Cup e.g.).

Iksel: Iksel focusses especially on items concerning food and drinks (Iksel Plate, Iksel Course, et cetera).

Hagel: Hagel sells you those types of item he normally uses as well as the more offensive items (Bomb, Lightning Quartz, N/A, et cetera).

Tiffani: Like the other ones you can register those types of items she normally sells plus more common ones; she is a bit like Ceci (Supplement, Pure Oil, Gibate Ankh, et cetera).

Pilca: She doesn't do Wholesaling.

I recommend you to use the chance Wholesaling gives you.

There are items which are needed very often for alchemy or just because they help you in battle. Once it is possible I would definitely make a Supplement with quality "Best" (80+) and take it to Ceci. Supplements are needed often enough and even though one Supplement takes just 0.2 days to make it which means you can make 5 of them in one day you waste one whole day in case you just need and make one. If I were you I would be sure to have Supplements. Items like the Pure Oil are also those which are required for some other ones which are not needed that often but when the moment comes you are glad to have the Pure Oil item and since it requires a Coco Fruit and a Distill Stone you normally won't have it always. Other recommended items are a well-made Healing Salve, Nectar, Mystery Ankh, Iksel Course and the Bombs Totori and Rorona use as well as Polish Powder, Ingot items or Cloth items.

Went with Tiffani and Filly to have a drink.

This is a missable trophy.

How to get it:

- You can do missions for Filly once you visit her in Arland after June 1st in Year 1. Never to too many missions which need to much time/items you don't have already or monsters you cannot really beat yet.

- As soon as you have done 30, 40 and 50 missions scenes with her will trigger. The first ones in the lobby. The last one in Tiffani's Shop. Then, once you have done 70 missions and no quests at the moment, another scene with Filly will happen in Tiffani's Store. Exactly two days later you need to visit the Sunrise Café. Then you can enjoy the scene while getting the trophy.

- One day afterwards you can have a talk with Filly and Tiffani for your amusement.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1025/12.jpg Fishing Festival (G)(H)

Hold the swimsuit contest.

This is a missable trophy.

How to get:

During the 2.-3. quarter of Year 5 Peter will visit you in Totori's atelier. Then you have 2 months time to find 8 young and beautiful women for him.

Those are:

- Ceci in Gerhard's Bar

- Melvia in Gerhard's Bar - Mel's Friendship Level needs at least to be "60"

- Pamela in Pamela's Store

NOTE: As long as Pamela is not in her store you cannot ask her, so ask her in time.

- Rorona in Rorona's atelier - Rorona's Friendhip Level needs at least to be "60"

- Mimi in the Arland lobby - Mimi's Friendship Level needs at least to be "60"

- Cordelia in the Arland lobby - you need to convince Rorona first to join the Fishing Festival

- Filly in the Arland lobby

- You can ask Tiffani as well, but she will not join the Fishing Festival

One day before the Festival Peter will revisit Totori's atelier. He tells you to join the Festival and complete the group. Don't miss it one day after or you will not get to see it and also get no trophy. However you would see another scene with Peter in Totori's atelier soon after. Once the Festival begins you will get the trophy and a competition starts. You can end it the way you like it. It does not matter.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1025/13.jpg Still a Child (S)(H)

View the event where Ceci embraces Totori.

This is a missable trophy.

How to get:

After you have visited Pilca the second time talk to Piana at home. Approximately two weeks later you will be able to watch another scene. Another two weeks later as long as Rorona is not in your team you will be able to watch her and Piana doing some alchemy. Wait another ~2 weeks then and during the next scene you will get the trophy at the Wharf. You can enjoy some other scenes with Piana some weeks afterwards. They are just for entertainment, however. In case the story has continued far enough, you don't need to wait some weeks, of course and can watch those scenes one after another.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1025/14.jpg Chivalrous Defender (S)(H)

View the event where Gino learns his strongest skill.

How to get:

[spoiler=1]- You will watch some scenes with Gino while adventuring with him.

- Then as soon as Year 2 begins a scene with Gino can trigger while you go adventuring with him; Gino's Adventurer Level needs to be at least "10", his Friendship Level needs to be at least "40".

- Return to Arland and you need to make a "Rusty Weights" for Gino. Make it and bring it to him then.

=> Gino learns a new skill this way.

- Once you met Sterk again (so not the scene when he rescues you during the Prologue) talk to Gino; Gino's Friendship Level needs to be "45".

- One week after you will be able to watch a scene with Gino and Melvia at the Village Square of Alanya.

- After some days another scene with Gino and Sterk will happen in Totori's atelier.

- Soon after a scene with Gino and Sterk can be watched on the Village Square of Alanya. Wait one week then and visit the Wharf for a training scene with Gino and Sterk.

- As soon as Year 3 begins, Gino can visit you in Totori's atelier; Gino's Adventurer Level needs to be at least "15", Friendship Level needs to be at least "50".

- Visit the Village Square of Alanya then to meet Sterk; you can also visit Arland.

- Talk to Gino then to tell him about Sterk's tips.

In case you want one of the character endings or the True Ending, or at least the "Chivalrous Defender" trophy continue this way:

- Once as Year 4 begins, a scene will happen in Totori's atelier and Gino will learn his super move; Gino's Adventurer Level needs to be at least "25".

NOTE: During the event of Gino disappearing he can also level up to Level 25 by himself, which can be a problem for the platinum run, the best thing is to control these things by not fully raising the FLV for example and not just let them happen.

- One week afterwards another scene can be watched about Gino and Totori sparring.

- Wait one more week to watch the final scene and get the trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/1025/15.jpg Ambushed (S)(H)

View the event where Melvia and Ceci are cornered.

How to get:

[spoiler=2]- Watch the event with Melvia about Ceci as soon as you visit one wild area

- Soon after you will be able to watch another scene with Melvia; Mel's Friendship Level needs to be at least "50".

- As soon as the second half of Year 2 starts, you can watch a scene when talking with Melvia in Gerhard's Bar; Mel's Friendship Level needs to be at least "60".

- Talk to Ceci then so she can join you adventuring; Melvia needs to be in your team so Ceci will join both of you.

- Wait at least one month and invite Ceci again; this time with Mel as well; 2 days will pass after the adventure.

___________________

In case you want one of the character endings or the True Ending, or at least the "Ambushed" trophy continue this way:

- One month after you can invite Ceci again while Mel is in your team; during the following scenes you get the trophy. You will also have to fight 3 Scarlets with Totori. But you don't need to defeat them. However, you can do that as long as your Level is high enough (recommended: 35+), have a good equipment with Totori and some strong Bombs as well as the ability to use them automatically once your Hit Points get low.

View the event where Mimi tries to cheer Totori up.

How to get:

[spoiler=3]- Once your basket is at least 80% full, enter Alanya with Mimi in your team and a scene will trigger; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "10".

- At least 15 days later you can watch a scene with Mimi in Totori's atelier; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "15".

- At least 15 days afterwards you can watch another scene with Mimi as long as she is in your party when you enter Alanya; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "20".

- At least 15 days afterwards there will also be a scene when returning to Alanya Village with Mimi in your party; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "25".

- At least 15 days later you will be able to watch a scene with Mimi in Totori's atelier; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "30".

- Mimi needs to be back home in Arland, speak with Cordelia then; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "35".

- Talk to Mimi or go adventuring with Mimi in your party, to make a scene trigger; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "35".

- Do at least 25 quests for Filly and then talk to her; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "40".

- At least 15 days later - and not before the second half of Year 2 - enter the lobby of the guild to make a scene trigger; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "50".

- Wait at least one day and as soon as you rank up, another scene with Mimi will trigger and she will leave your party and/or will not be able to be invited for the following days.

NOTE: This scene can be missed in case you cannot rank up anymore; however the chance of you being the rank "GALAXY" (the final rank) early enough is not that high.

- At least 3 days afterwards, as soon as you have made an item in Rorona's atelier, a scene with Mimi and Rorona will trigger right before Rorona's house.

- Wait at least 15 days and then have a talk with Cordelia about Totori being sad and Mimi will appear.

- Before Guid finishes your ship, take Mimi with you and enter the worldmap to make a scene trigger; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "60".

NOTE: This event can be missed when you finish the boat as long as Mimi is mad at you. She needs to rejoin you first so you can invite her.

- Take Mimi with you to the Wharf once your ship is completed; so she will be part of this important story scene.

NOTE: This event can be missed when you finish the boat as long as Mimi is mad at you. She needs to rejoin you first so you can invite her.

- Reach "Altmeier" the first time with Mimi in your party, so she is also part of the scene where you encounter the Flauschtraut.

NOTE: This event can be missed when you finish the boat as long as Mimi is mad at you. She needs to rejoin you first so you can invite her. It can also be missed through some weird reason. She can be part of the Wharf scene, for example, but in case you have not watched the scene where she wishes you good luck with finding Gisela while you collect your ship materials, she will also not appear during this scene.

- Once after you have left the "Farthest Village", a scene with Totori and Mimi will happen on deck of your ship and you will get the trophy.

- At least one day later a scene will trigger in one of the two ateliers.

- Wait at least until the beginning of Year 2 and visit Hagel's Shop, so another scene with Marc and Hagel will trigger; Marcs Friendship Level needs to be at least "30".

- At least 15 days afterwards, visit the Sunrise Café to watch another scene with Marc and Hagel.

- Wait at least one month then and at Artisan's Way you will be able to trigger a scene with Marc; Marc's Friendship Level needs to be at least "40".

- Wait at least one month then and at Artisan's Way you will be able to trigger another scene with Marc; Marc's Friendship Level needs to be at least "45".

- Wait at least one month then and at Artisan's Way you will be able to trigger a third scene with Marc; Marc's Friendship Level needs to be at least "50".

- After you have visited the Promised Land and you have waited at least one month after the last scene - Year 4 must have begun already - Marc will visit you in Rorona's atelier; Marc's Adventurer Level needs to be at least "30" and his Friendship Level has to be at least "60".

- A scene at Artisan's Way will trigger as soon as Sterk's Friendship Level is at least "30".

- Another scene at Artisan's Way will trigger as soon as Sterk's Friendship Level is at least "40".

- Visit a wild area and Sterk will leave your party and will not be able to be invited for the following days; Sterk's Friendship Level is at least "60".

- After approximately one week he will reappear in one of the ateliers and you can invite him again.

- Finish the alcohol brewing quest for Gerhard which includes inviting Sterk to fish the "Guardian". You will get the trophy then.

How to get:

There are three ways to get this ending and the trophy with it:

- Just wait the time in the Prologue and don't prove Ceci you are serious, so you cannot travel to Arland.

- Don't reach rank "DIAMOND" until your License shall be renewed when the second half of Year 4 begins.

- Don't return back home in time until the end of Year 6 (June 1st) to tell your family what you have found out about Gisela.

See Gino's Ending.

How to get:

[spoiler=7]- You will watch some scenes with Gino while adventuring with him.

- Visit the Village Square of Alanya then to meet Sterk, you can also visit Arland.

- Talk to Gino then to tell him about Sterk's tips.

___________________

In case you want one of the character endings or the True Ending, continue this way:

- Once as Year 4 begins, a scene will happen in Totori's atelier and Gino will learn his super move; Gino's Adventurer Level needs to be at least "25".

NOTE: During the event of Gino disappearing he can also level up to Level 25 by himself, which can be a problem for the platinum run, the best thing is to control these things by not fully raising the FLV for example and not just let them happen.

- One week afterwards another scene can be watched about Gino and Totori sparring.

- Wait one more week to watch the final scene.

You need to wait until the end of Year 6 then and as long as Gino's ending conditions are fulfilled and his Friendship Level is higher than those of the other characters, you will be able to enjoy Gino's Ending and get the trophy.

- Soon after you will be able to watch another scene with Melvia; Mel's Friendship Level needs to be at least "50".

- Talk to Ceci then so she can join you adventuring; Melvia needs to be in your team so Ceci will join both of you.

- Wait at least one month and invite Ceci again; this time with Mel as well; 2 days will pass after the adventure.

In case you want one of the character endings or the True Ending, continue this way:

(It does not matter in which order you do them)

- One month after you can invite Ceci again while Mel is in your team. You will also have to fight 3 Scarlets with Totori. But you don't need to defeat them. However, you can do that as long as your Level is high enough (recommended: 35+), have a good equipment with Totori and some strong Bombs as well as the ability to use them automatically once your Hit Points get low.

- Defeat the Devil "Evil Face" as soon the tower "Lichtein Söhnle" is unlocked. Melvia does not need to be in your team.

You need to wait until the end of Year 6 then and as long as Melvia's ending conditions are fulfilled and her Friendship Level is higher than those of the other characters, you will be able to enjoy Melvia's Ending and get the trophy.

See Mimi's Ending.

How to get:

[spoiler=9]- Once your basket is at least 80% full, enter Alanya with Mimi in your team and a scene will trigger; Mimi's Friendship Level needs to be at least "10".

- Once after you have left the "Farthest Village", a scene with Totori and Mimi will happen on deck of your ship.

- Talk to Mimi in the Adventurer's Guild of Arland afterwards.

- Defeat the Devil "Evil Face" in the tower "Lichtein Söhnle". It does not matter if she is in your party or not.

In case you want one of the character endings or the True Ending, continue this way:

- Let both Totori and Mimi reach Adventurer Level 50 to make a scene trigger.

NOTE: Somehow you can miss this event even though they are Level 50. In this case be sure a third character reaches Level 50 while the two are in the team and the event should trigger then.

You need to wait until the end of Year 6 then and as long as Mimi's ending conditions are fulfilled and her Friendship Level is higher than those of the other characters, you will be able to enjoy Mimi's Ending and get the trophy.

- One month after the second half of Year 3 begins, you are able to watch a scene with Rorona and Cordelia at Artisan's Way; Rorona's Friendship Level needs to be at least "50".

- Wait at least 6 months and then a scene with Totori and Rorona triggers in Rorona's atelier; your decision during the conversation does not matter however.

NOTE: This event has a weird triggering time. Be sure not to wait too long and also not to trigger the event when it is too late, so you are able to watch this scene. Don't wait much longer than the 6 months however so you can be sure to watch it.

- Reach Alchemy Level 50.

You get the Chims this way:

- one is a gift of Rorona during the end of Year 2

- the others can be gotten by using a Water of Life item with the Chim Machine in Atelier Rorona, you get the items

* in Pamela's Shop (you can buy only one of them, of course)

* by winning the competition against Iksel

* as one of Astrid's remaining items, brought by Sterk; his Friendship Level needs to be at least "50"

* by reaching the PLATINUM rank

You should get the Chims as fast as you can and give them as much work as possible. Be sure you have always some "Homemade Pies" which can be bought from Ceci. Once they are faster with their work you need to buy more of them, of course.

You need to wait until the end of Year 6 and as long as you have fulfilled Chim's ending conditions and no other final character ending or the True Ending conditions, you will be able to enjoy Chim's ending and get the trophy.

IV. Walkthrough:

I personally don't recommend you to do everything in just one playthrough, but indeed you can do that. You even need to do most for all trophies to get the "True Ending" Trophy anyway.

I. May I become an Adventurer? (March 1st, Year 1 - June 1st Year 1)

Read carefully what the tutorial says to make things easier. While enjoying the Prologue you will get some Friendship points for Gino and Melvia. Of course you need to invite them in your team to get more points. As long as you don't they won't get any points. Nevertheless Gino will get the first few points since he is in your team automatically. Both Gino and Melvia start at Friendship Level 30, so you have some advantage here. Fight some monsters to get some experience points as well as Friendship points for walking around with your friends, try to make your first alchemical experiences and do some quests for Gerhard. While enjoying the story you will get the trophies "A Day in the Life" and "Monstrous Power". In case you don't mess up things and do not just sleep or synthesize until the end of the Prologue which gives you the "Bad Ending" trophy you will see a scene with Ceci who allows you to travel to Arland. Afterwards you will earn the "Like the Flash" and the "Shouting Match" trophy. In Arland Cordelia will give you your Adventurer's License and the Prologue is over.

II. The Adventurer of Arland (June 1st, Year 1 - June 1st Year 4)

You begin at home on June 1st, Year 1. Since you have practically nothing in case this is your 1st playthrough you need to learn how to save time. But don't worry. There is not that much pressure. And in case you are not that sure about your time management, create more than one save file. However, once you follow that walkthrough here you really don't need to worry about making too many mistakes and normally you will learn pretty fast.

When traveling through the Arland Republic the first three years, you MUST get your Adventurer Rank to "DIAMOND" until June 1st, Year 4. Otherwise you will get the "Bad Ending" and in case you didn't get the trophy before you will get it then. If you do how it is expected then reaching the DIAMOND rank is no problem. Just travel around, always having your friends in your team to increase the Friendship Level (traveling will only get it to Level 60, leave it how it is then and never do any Friend Requests afterwards, however, accepting them before is okay as long as they don't push someone's Friendship Level above "60"; Friend Requests can be done as soon as a certain event of Sterkenburg in Totori's atelier has happened) and try to improve your abilities in gathering, fighting and synthesizing wisely. Visit at least every location once and gather some materials there.

NOTE: Events always trigger by fulfilling some requirements and/or by letting some time pass. I am pretty sure not all of your events will trigger on the first day they are able to because normally you are traveling around then or whatever. BUT it should be mentioned that events can trigger during the same day, so use that to save time. Normally they trigger by going to another location in the village/city and going back then. AND there are some events which have a weird trigger behaviour. They cannot trigger if you wait too long such as Rorona's Friendship Level 60 event. If you are out of time at the end of the story and you need to wait a certain amount of days for some events to trigger it is logical. But that is another problem. Nevertheless you shouldn't have too many problems with that. Just never forget to let the events trigger in time.

- At the beginning of your adventurer career invite Gino and Melvia to train them and to raise their Friendship level; be sure to get Gino at least to Level 15 (more about that in their respective Trophy Guide section "Two Masters" and "Promises").

- Some of their events occur when you go out to another area while they are in your team, especially their first events, same for Mimi later.

- Once Mimi finds you invite her in case the other's Friendship Levels are "60" already and train with her and increase her Friendship Level (more about that in her respective Trophy Guide section "Adventurer BFFs").

- Always buy 10 Homemade Pies from Ceci; she restocks them every 1st, 2nd, 11th, 12th, 21st and 22nd day (10 of them cost 700 Cole, so without doing some quests and without doing them well enough to be rewarded very well you have some problems unless this is your 2nd playthrough or 3rd, et cetera).

NOTE: Not buying (too many) pies won't ruin everything at this point; but it is wise to buy some already.

Advice: Be sure to get some Tar Fruits and Chain Webs as soon as possible as well as Purple Grapes, and Lumber such as Eiche or Bamboo as well as some Ore and Fests (Tar Fruit and Bamboo are only accessible after ranking up, in case of Bamboo even more than once). You will notice that some items can be bought and not even expensive. So it is up to you. And always have some Ingot and Cloth items with you. You will need them for the story as well as for other things.

While doing quests for Gerhard and exploring the area around Alanya you will get a good amount of Adventurer points. You can remain in Alanya and the area around it as long as Peter tells you about his carriage. Then you will be able to use it for 200 Cole per ride. But don't forget to explore the Arland area soon enough. Actually it is not unwise to do that once you have Mimi. When entering the Buried Ruins location you will meet Marc McBrine. After the scene you need to revisit the area and can go on, but first take one Bounce Stone with you. Arriving in Arland talk to your new acquaintances and be sure to get as many quests of Filly as possible. Filly is the girl next to Cordelia and you will only be able to ask her for quests once you talk to Cordelia again, otherwise she will not be there to help you.

- Be sure always to rank up as soon as possible since it unlocks more locations and you get some gifts; ranking up is only possible by Cordelia.

- Be sure to report quests by Filly; but never accept those which need too many days (they should still be somewhere near Arland and synthesizing quests should not require too much effort; last one depends on your own situation, inventory, et cetera).

NOTE: You will have enough time to get the 70 quests you need for Filly and this one can even be finished in Year 5 and 6, but the faster, the better and it will also help you increasing your Adventurer Rank, plus help you with Mimi's Events.

=> A certain time before you travel around with your boat the first time with Mimi you need to do at least 30 quests for Filly (more about Mimi herself in the "Adventurer BBFs" part of the Trophy Guide).

=> If you have done enough for Filly and have seen the bar scene TWO days after you have seen the second complainment scene at R & T's Sundries (the second complainment scene triggers ONLY IN CASE you have no quests) you get the "Legendary Drunkard" trophy (more about this trophy in the "Legendary Drunkard" part of the Trophy Guide), however should not do all 70 required missions at this point of the story or you lose many days and don't continue the story.

The day after you see the scene with Tiffani in Sunrise Café you can also talk to Tiffani and Filly for some amusing conversation, but it is not necessary for the trophy.

Once you have ranked up visit the Calamitous Mountain location as soon as you can and you will meet Marc again. After he visited Atelier Rorona in Arland you are able to hire him. Be sure to invite Marc and to raise his Friendship Level. Don't forget to travel back to Alanya from time to time. It is important since a lot of events just occur there (same for Arland, of course). Using Peter's carriage here is good in case you want to save some time and you have 200 Cole. If you were not able to use the carriage until now because you left Alanya pretty early, travel to Alanya and the event will trigger soon.

- Once you are in Alanya Village without Marc whose Friendship Level is "30+" an event will trigger at the Village Square; you will see Marc you asks you to bring him a Pure Oil item and a Bounce Stone to speed up the carriage which almost halves the days you need by traveling around with it.

- Don't forget to be long enough in Alanya Village to make the other events trigger which are described in the respective Trophy Guide section ("Two Masters", "Promises", et cetera)

- Let Ceci explain you the Wholesaling and register the items which are recommended by me and/or you think which are useful for you (Supplement, Polish Powder, et cetera).

Things you should do for your Adventurer's Rank:

- Fighting, defeating a certain amount of monsters will also bring you good points

- Alchemy

- Easy and fast missions and as many of them as possible

- Defeat bosses like the Griffon at Traveler's Path and Jagd Wolf on Stein Hill, at the moment

you should only be able to defeat them by guarding, using bombs, using some attacks once you have the opportunity, et cetera

- Find all gather points in areas (not required in all)

- Find the landmark in areas (they are not in all)

These things should be done wisely to gain the points you need fast enough. Do not try to get all points. You do not need them, since you do not need to reach the final rank for the Platinum trophy. But you still need enough points. Following these tips will help you every time you unlock new areas and things like training in terms of battles and alchemy do not even require to be unlocked first. At least not like the areas.

In the middle of Year 2 Ceci asks you to bring back Guid for dinner. Normally you are in the second or third half of Year 2. Totori automatically goes to the Wharf and an event will occur. You will get the "Catch of the Day" trophy. Not too long after the following scenes you should travel back to Arland and spend some time there. From now on you are able to hire "Teacher" Rorolina.

- While working on your Adventurer's Rank invite Rorona to raise her Friendship Level.

- Spend enough time in her atelier; in case she is in your team and a few months after you have visited her in Arland, depending on how you manage it, a short conversation will trigger and she will ask you which gender you would prefer.

=> Soon after an event in her atelier will trigger an she gives you the Homunculus "Chim" whose gender depends on your earlier decision, while you get the "Cuteness Swarm" trophy (normally this happens ~5 months after you have met her in Alanya).

- Be sure to give Chim work IMMEDIATELY and let him/her collect material for which he/she needs ~3 days at the moment; I recommend you to let him/her collect Tar Fruits, Bamboo or whatever since you need them and Chim will be faster soon enough.

- Travel back to Alanya Village as soon as possible and buy the Water of Life from Pamela for 7000 Cole which is sold by her now but just once.

- In case some events can trigger at that time, let them trigger and then after you have probably bought some new Homemade Pies from Ceci and a Small Sardine (70) which you have brought back to your own atelier, travel back to Arland to make another Chim and give him/her work as well.

Depending on how well you do you rank up the first ranks pretty soon. Once you are SILVER rank you can visit Tiffani with at least 3/4 of your basket full and she will give you a better basket, meaning she increases the capacity of carrying items.

- You should also go out with Mimi and re-enter your atelier with a full basket to trigger one of her events.

Working on it as well as synthesizing will help you greatly here. Whereas you synthesize and level up in one of the ateliers you increase your chance to successfully make the items you get for ranking up. And some of them such as the Speed Gloves and the Traveler's Boots are very good. Be sure to make them as soon as possible since they will be very useful for your adventure. However don't worry about that too soon. The Alchemy Levels of those items are pretty high and you need to make many items first before you are successful in making those two for example.

- Be sure to visit Rorona's atelier for some events; she will give you a Pie recipe.

=> Make one of them in Totori's atelier and Ceci will appear, she will give you a Fish recipe.

=> After a while Rorona will give you more recipes for some useful items, one tells you how to make a Spring Cup (you will need it later).

Also collect some items such as Water ("Best"; Forgotten Village), Wispstone (Jade Ruins, e.g.), Sunny Crystal (Promised Land & Crystal Spot, e.g.) and high-quality Fresh Mint items and as soon as you can. You will need them either for a better item or for an important story quest.

- Once you are GOLD rank and you have at least your first Chim you can talk to Iksel and he will give you recipes, do them as soon as it is possible for you (!).

=> The first items do not matter, however buy at least one of his Charlot Milk (70), some of his Flour (60) and his unique Some Egg (80), for the Century Biscuit you need to be sure that the quality is at least "Good", otherwise Iksel will not continue with another recipe as long as you don't bring him a better item.

=> For Totori Brunch use the Small Sardine you have bought from Ceci, the Some Egg of Iksel (or one of those which can be found on Seaside Hill), and some other good items you have bought or found (such as an "Ultimate" quality Uni, for example) and once your Totori Brunch is at least quality "Best" you will win the competition.

=> Two of the items you get are a Water of Life and a Sonne Fruit; use the Water of Life immediately and give your new Chim his/her first work and keep the Sonne Fruit for later.

- Sterkenburg will visit you often enough, visit Alanya Village talk to Gino to continue his events (no matter if you can hire Sterkenburg or not; he should not be in your team).

Around the beginning of the third year Sterkenburg will come and visit you again. From now on you can hire him. Immediately hire him and increase his Friendship Level as well as the one whose still needs to be increased, normally Rorolina or Mimi. Sterkenburg is a great help. He is incredibly strong and especially his "Sword Blitz" should be helpful to train at the moment. I recommend you to use a location like Ancient Monastery or Runestone Nest. The ghosts give a good amount of experience points for being easy but Runestone nest has many good items, some stronger enemies, which also give good items and partly a good amount of experience points for the effort and you can always face the Jewel Element, a fairy which gives you good experience points and is relatively easy to defeat. Be sure to make a Gibate Ankh accessory soon enough. The recipe is sold by Tiffani. It increases the EXP you get by ~30%. But unfortunately just one works at once. And yet it is still enough.

  • 1 month later...

While you have Sterk in your team and some of his events trigger (most of them in Arland - always visit at least Artisan's Way in Atelier Rorona since there are many scenes of the characters anyway; same for Sterk - but I recommend to visit Rorona's atelier, Artisan's Way and the Arland lobby since need the lobby for other events as well):

- Be sure to make most of Mimi's events trigger, most of them happen in Totori's atelier in case they haven't triggered yet.

- During that time most of Marc's events should trigger; they happen at Artisan's Way in case they haven't triggered yet.

Once Sterk's Friendship Level is at least "50" revisit Atelier Rorona and he will appear to give you some of Astrid's items, including another Water of Life, the second-last one of yours (normally) and with it another friend, another Chim, who helps you gathering materials.

Early in Year 3 you should be in Atelier Rorona. Cordelia will visit you and show you a letter of Gisela, Totori's mother. Travel back to Arland and have a talk with Guid. After some story scenes you are sent out to gather materials for your new ship. In case you have followed my guide here you already have almost everything which means you have to wait until your license expires because then you are able to get an item which was not accessible before. So in case you have not gathered the other items before, do that and make your ship parts. Otherwise make them immediately, but don't forget you need a good amount of recipes from Tiffani, Hagel and Pamela. Continue reading Part II in case you have problems with getting Cole.

- In case you are in mid-Year 3 in Alanya Village you can talk to Gerhard who wants you to brew alcohol, after a conversation with Rorona in her atelier you can help him with making some.

List for the Ship:

Forged Anchor

Item 1: "Ingot" x5

Item 2: Polish Powder x3

Item 3: Magic Chain x3

Item 4:

Whirlwind Sail

Item 1: "Lumber" x7

Item 2: "Cloth" x10

Item 3: Sylph Breath x3

Item 4:

Proofed Deck

Item 1: "Lumber" x15

Item 2: Tar Liquid x5

Item 3: "Ingot" x5

Item 4: Supplement x5

Centenary Hull

Item 1: "Lumber" x20

Item 2: Polish Powder x10

Item 3:

Item 4:

Helm

Item 1: "Threads" x5

Item 2: "Shining Saucer" x5

Item 3: "Lumber" x5

Item 4: Mystery Ankh x3

Mystic Prow

Item 1: "Ore" x10

Item 2: Polish Powder x5

Item 3: "Mystery" x5

Item 4: Komet x3

You should even have time left to do some other things before your license expires, such as the events which need to trigger for your character's endings, especially Mimi is important and Rorona since her events have a weird triggering behaviour and are missable easily. For Rorona's first event you need Sterk's Friendship Level to be at least "30". You need to visit the Sunrise Café then and an event will trigger which also brings you the "Unlikely Party" trophy. Once Rorona's Friendship Level is "40" or higher an event at Artisan's Way triggers.

Approximately six months after that you need to be in her atelier again to make her last event trigger.

NOTE: I am not yet sure if this event cannot trigger once you are in Year 5 or just in case you wait way longer than 6 months but somehow you can fail to see it even though you have many time left so just be sure make it trigger in Year 3-4.

The last scene of Rorona is not really an event. It occurs once you have reached Alchemy Level 50 and make an item in her atelier. You don't need to worry about it at this point of the story. However to continue Marc's events later you should at least visit the Promised Land once. But not again (with him) once he invites you.

Money Rain:

In case you do not have too many Cole you can solve that problem easily. Normally Rorona should have already given you the recipe containing the Spring Cup. Make that one (with 5 or 6 Uses) and register it with Pamela. Buy it immediately and repeat that until 10 of them are registered. Once Pamela restocks, you can buy 100 of them for 22000-23000 Cole. Of course it is possible you don't have that much money, but in this case just buy as many as you can. It is worth the money. Depending on which Liquid you have already found (Water, Charlot Milk, Dark Dew & Sea Puddle) you will randomly get 5 of them per use. Waste the Water and Milk and sell the other items you get by using the Cups and repeat the process until you have enough money. Then you should normally be able to buy 100 Spring Cups and for 100 Spring Cups and for the items you normally get ~125000 Cole.

By ranking up to DIAMOND you are able to visit Hermit's House. Visit it to find an Azure Wing in the treasure chest. With it you can make a Warp Gate. This item is so important, don't miss to make it. It will help you getting to the ateliers in no time and to save time with it. Now that you are close to an important point of the story you should concentrate on smithing some equipment for your team. Buy the books for Muffcot and Platine by Hagel and make Platine weapons for at least Sterk and Mimi in case you have gathered the Wispstones (Jade Ruins) I recommended. Mimi should also have a good armor which gives her some HP since she doesn't have that much. I recommend you to use the Fighter's Garb. You can also make a Platine weapon for Sterk with the unique Platine you can buy from Hagel. It is a good one with "Attack +10" but do as you like. I also recommend you to make some Healing Salves and Nectars as well as Lightning Quartzes. The Lightning Quartzes should have some "enhance effect" or "increase Critical Hit chance" abilties and (!) both "Solvent" ("reduces Defense", you need a Tar Fruit for it) and "Binding" ("reduces Speed", you need a Chainweb for it). If you think you have enough money, which is no problem with the Spring Cups, then you can register your items and buy more of them instead of just making them often enough.

Once your license expires, you can continue with gathering the rest of your ship materials. In case you didn't reach DIAMOND rank, you get the "Bad Ending" and the trophy with it.

III. Into the Footsteps of a Legend (June 1st, Year 4 - June 1st, Year 6)

You are still here? Great, thanks from Totori and me for your interest.

Now that your license is renewed, you can continue ranking up. To get the Platinum trophy you still need one Rank Up. Do that as soon as you can and once you reach the COBALT rank, you get your (normally) final Water of Life and so your last Chim who should help you working.

Since your DIAMOND rank is "fully activated" after the license renewal you can visit the Neumont Forest. In case you are COBALT already you even have more possibilities but the Neumont Forest is the first area to give you the chance of gathering the Shining Saucer item. Visit one of those areas and collect at least 6 (six, not five!) Shining Saucers. Five of them are required for your ship. In case you are not done with the other materials, check Part II of my walkthrough.

NOTE: Do NOT leave the village with your ship without Mimi AND without having fulfilled the other requirements for her ending which shall be done before, be sure she leaves your team first, she comes back and go out adventuring with her to trigger the scene with her asking you about gathering materials for a ship.

Once you are done, bring all materials to Guid. There will be a scene every second item you give to him and one day will pass as well. After the sixth item he shows you one masterpiece of a ship. "Yo ho, yo ho!", I'd say.

NOTE: Do not enter the Wharf without Mimi once your ship is finished!

If you are ready to take off, take Mimi with you and set sail.

At this point of the story you should have more, exactly or less:

I. triggered Mimi's events like I told you, otherwise, well, "GAME OVER"

(not really, but the True Ending or 1st Try Platinum Run is ruined),

II. trained Totori and Mimi up to their "30s",

III. have a good Alchemy Level (30+),

IV. reached COBALT rank,

V. already triggered Rorona's and Cordelia's Artisan's Way conversation and maybe

even Rorona's "What do you like better?" event since there is a weird and troublesome time limit to trigger that event,

VI. trained Gino to a Level close (not exactly or higher!) to "25" and seen some of his events,

VII. been invited by Marc to go to the Promised Land (but did not go - not yet) which requires to see the earlier events of him, to go to the Promised Land at least once before he invites you and to have him at least trained to Level 30,

VIII. seen some of Melvia's events, maybe you have even invited Ceci already (but not more than twice yet),

IX. seen some of Sterk's events,

X. won Iksel's cooking competition,

XI. advanced in brewing for Gerhard, maybe you even can brew the Fish sort alcohol already.

XII. 5 Chims (see IV. & XI. and actually even IX. even though it has nothing to do with Sterk's ending events,

but at least with a high Friendship Level of him),

XIII. got sure that they already ate a good amount of grand pies (the first two Chims should be Fast or Normal already),

XIV. Friendship Level 60 or close to (not higher) with all/most of them (Mimi IS necessary, related to I. and for the other characters to V., VI., VII., VIII. & IX.),

XV. done a certain amount of quests for Filly in case you haven't even got the "Legendary Drunkard" trophy already.

In case you are not in your fourth year or even in late Year 5 and still haven't done too many things, you may have some problems. You do have some time left in the end in case you are fast but depending on what you have not done and how slow you were, et cetera you may not be successful. I hope for you you were fast and efficient enough.

When progressing be ready to fulfill the following requirements at least somehow:

- Totori, Sterkenburg and Mimi (they should be your team) ~Level 35

- Mimi should have at least 120 Hit Points

- Sterk and Mimi should use Platine weapons

- Equip items with ice-, and/or lightning-resistance

- Have some Lightning Quartzes with the "Solvent" (from Tar Fruit), "Binding" (from Chainweb) and "enhances effect, increases the chance of Critical Hits, et cetera" abilities

- Have Healing Salves or other good healing effect items, such as Iksel Courses

- Have some Nectars or other good KO-Recovery items, such as Mystery Ankhs

When passing the second island, gather two Butterfly Fish and two Bomb Fish. You will need them later.

Then once you arrive at Altmeier, a scene will trigger.

NOTE: In case everything with her was done right, Mimi WILL be on deck next to Totori.

Now be ready for the first final boss!

Flauschtraut:

http://i.imgur.com/xO0JtGil.jpg

HP: 6000

Attacks:

- Bite (physical attack, ~50 damage)

- Bolt (lightning-elemental attack, ~40 damage, STUN-effect)

- Freeze Breath (ice-elemental attack, 40-50 damage, reduce Speed-effect, most dangerous attack of the Flauschtraut)

- Siren (negating move, don't worry about it, it just wastes its time)

- Storm (combo introduction to Grand Wave)

- Grand Wave (super move, ~60 damage, all, every 4-5 rounds)

Strategy:

In case you already make Iksel Courses successfully you have a great advantage here. But Healing Salves will also do their job. Since Healing Salves normally do not heal that much, be sure to heal your friends always once their Hit Points are close to "50". Totori's first move should be using a Lightning Quartz with the "Solvent" ("reduce Defense"-effect) and "Binding" ("reduce Speed"-effect) effects. Concentrate with Sterkenburg and Mimi who should both have a Platine weapon (in case this is your first try, otherwise you can be even better) to use "Judgment" and "Himmel Waltz" as often as possible. With Iksel Courses it is even better because you can easily heal your Magic Points while healing your Hit Points. Focus on using Lightning Quartzes with Totori as long as she does not need to heal, use Assistment Moves and protect her. Especially the "Freeze Breath" of the Flauschtraut is evil. It is a random move other than the Grand Wave which can be predicted very easily and so it will normally use it more often. Having some equipment with ice-, and/or lightning-resistance equipped will ease the battle. Especially Freeze Breath's damage should be reduced and always be sure to guard Totori when the Flauschtraut uses that move. By using the "Guard Totori"-move the protector will get even less damage while Totori gets nothing. Mimi does not have that many Hit Points and since you normally are between Level 30-35 you should give her a good armor like the Fighter's Garb. It both increases her Hit Points and gives her other good extras like high Speed bonus. Having at least 2-3 Nectars or other KO-Recovery items with you is smart (help your friends as soon as they get KO, there should never be 2 KO at once, otherwise it could be a problem because of the all-target moves of the Flauschtraut) and once Sterkenburg's and Mimi's Special Move bars are full, the battle should be over after Sterkenburg's "Licht schneiden" (German for cutting Light) and Mimi's "Einzelkämpfer" (German for Loner) or at least 1-2 attacks away from being over.

In case the Flauschtraut gives you a weapon, it is fine. If not, reset the battle until you get one. Since you should be prepared, repeating the battle should be no problem for you. The weapon you get should be for Sterk or Mimi. If not you can disassemble it later and make one for them with it.

Once the battle is over stop at Altmeier or the next island and collect two Spike Tunas. I recommend you to visit the lower island first when the road splits up. There you will find some Sponge Fruits at Jungle Island. However once you're done take the upper road and stop at Ruin Island. You will find the Epic Poems recipe in a treasure chest. Go on then and travel to the next area to find an unknown continent. After passing the new location you will visit the Farthest Village. As soon as you enter the village a scene with the girl Piana triggers. Afterwards go to the grave near the entry and another scene will continue the story while you get the "Tragic Discovery" trophy. You will listen to Pilca's story about Gisela's bravery and the sealed Devil. Then it is about time to return to Alanya Village. Before you leave the village take some Water from the well. With "100" quality it is the best Water you will find. When leaving the village another scene will occur and back to the ship a scene with Mimi will tell you everything important you need to know about her past. You get the "Aristocratic Love" trophy then. Now teleport/travel back home.

Back home the story continues and after a conversation with Guid and Cecilia Piana appears.

Now the Must Do-part of the story is over.

Save now.

No matter how many pies your Chim's have already eaten, tell them to stop and sleep until your license expires on June 1st in Year 6.

In case you wouldn't have completed the Must Do-story part until then you would get the "Bad Ending" and the trophy with it.

But in case you have followed the guide I hardly believe you do.

When sleeping until your Adventurer's License expires once you have finished the Must Do-part, you will see the ending scene and will get the "Normal Ending" trophy. You can save afterwards and can start with all your equipment and Cole but do not overwrite the other data.

Load the other save data then (so the one directly after finishing the Must Do-part) and be sure your Chim's always have enough pies. Sleep and buy every day Ceci restocks. Don't do anything else. Your Chim's should just work and eat. So be sure your container doesn't get completely full.

While sleeping to feed the Chims, Peter will visit you in the second half of Year 5 in Totori's atelier. He will ask you to help him with the Fishing Festival which is prepared by him and then he disappears for the next two months. You now have to find 8 young and beautiful women for him. Memorize the date because you need to be back home exactly two months after Peter asks you. Once you talk to one of the chosen girls a scene will trigger. Start with Ceci. Then go to Melvia. She should be at least on Friendship Level 60 already. Then she will help you. Afterwards ask Pamela - she cannot be asked in case you have opened the tower Lichtein Söhnle with her and return with her while Peter is not in town but if you have followed the Roadmap everything you haven't even visited the tower yet, so there is no problem. Now teleport/travel to Arland and ask Rorona. She also needs to be at least on Friendship Level 60. You can talk to Tiffani as well, but she will not help you. Now ask Mimi. Like Rorona and Melvia she needs to be at least on Friendship Level 60 as well. The last two girls are Filly and Cordelia. Now wait until Peter revisits you and he will choose you as the final candidate. The next day you can enjoy the Fishing Festival and you will also get the "Fishing Festival" trophy. It is of no importance who wins the swimsuit contest. Just do as you like to some extra scenes with the winner afterwards.

NOTE: Do the two endings, the Chim and Restaurant ones really in time, or Gino's events can mess up things for you if you have watched too many of them and he has trained himself after suddenly disappearing.

Now back to the Chims:

With the 5 Chims, always giving them work and getting als Chims soon enough they will have eaten 35+ grand pies in the second half of Year 6. Once they reach the 35 don't care about buying more, just sleep until your license will be renewed. You will see another ending then, the Chim ending and get the "The Hardest Workers" trophy.

NOTE: Do as I told you and don't trigger any final event scenes of the other characters before you get that ending or else you will not get that ending.

Now load your old data from before and continue. This time reward your Chims as well, but without just sleeping. Save the rest of your money with the Spring Cups which were mentioned in Part II until you have 500000 Cole. This will take some time but it is worth it. Now finish the quests for Gerhard. Make his fish alcohol and soon after he will ask for another, for a final drink. Ask Melvia to help you. She will recommend Sterk. Then go to the Wharf and Guid will give you his fishing rod, but before you will see a scene with Guid and Marc. Marc modifies your ship once you give him a Platine and a Shining Saucer so in case you have followed the guide you can give him the items directly after the scene and your ship will get faster. Now that you have the fishing rod, teleport/travel to Arland and ask Sterk to help you. Take the Sonne Fruit I told you to keep. It is for this moment. You have unlocked the Guardian's Den north of Rock Island after you visit the world map the first time after the scene with Gerhard. Travel to the Guardian's Den with everything recommended and wait until new moon at the end of the month. You can do that by using a skipping option when Totori is asking. In case you have everything a scene will trigger and you get the "Legendary 'Fish'" trophy. Go back to Alanya Village, make the Guardian Liquor and bring it to Gerhard. Afterwards there is another scene and the day after as well.

Now save again.

Don't care about your Chims now. They do not need to work. Just sleep until your license expires and you will see another ending and get the "Alchemy Restaurant" trophy.

Load your old save data (the one after the Guardian Liquor). You still need to care about feeding your Chims until they have eaten 35+ grand pies.

But meanwhile you can do many other things.

First, make 3 Shadow Bands and some Velvetis. The Shadow Bands are accessory items which ease the battles from now on and the Velvetis can be made to great armor items.

Next:

- Train Gino at least to Level 25 and new scenes can be triggered while you are in Alanya Village, once Rorona asks you to go out with her a scene will trigger and you will get the "Chivalrous Defender" trophy.

- Be sure to take Ceci with you while Melvia is in your team. Depending on how often you have invited her already you need to invite her once or twice more. Just remember you can only invite her after waiting a month. When the third invitation scene has triggered, some other scenes will follow and you will get the "Ambushed" trophy (it doesn't matter whether you win the following battle or not).

- Take Marc and go with him and Sterk to the Promised Land after saving and getting some Lightning Quartzes like those I recommended you to use for the Flauschtraut. I recommend you to be at least Level 35. Arriving in the Promised Land you need to defeat the Iron Giant after a conversation between Marc and Totori. The Iron Giant is pretty easy with the Lightning Quartzes and the Shadow Bands you should have now, but once he uses "Overheat" he gets extremely dangerous because of his all-target attacks and his two moves per turn so be sure to end the battle as soon as you can. Once you defeat him some time will pass and a few days later while being in Rorona's atelier another scene with Marc will trigger and you will get the "Arise, McVellion!" trophy.

- Synthesize items until you reach Alchemy Level 50. Do the last Level Up in Rorona's Atelier to save some days. I recommend you to make many Iksel Courses and Cloth type items since you can make many of them easily and earn a good amount of EXP. Be also sure to make Iksel Courses with high-quality Fresh Mint items for example which have abilities like "Cure-All" and "Kid Friendly", especially "Cure-All". The Iksel Courses should definitely have "HP Recovery XL" and "MP Recovery L". Abilities to boost criticals are also recommended. Als get sure to make N/A bombs or Lightning Quartz bombs with abilities like those I have recommended for the Flauschtraut and then make a Secret Bag. Register your masterpieces of Iksel Courses and bombs with Iksel and Hagel, wait some days and buy some of those again. It will cost you something, but you have enough Cole because of the Spring Cups and can easily get your 500000 Cole with them again.

Now travel to the Farthest Village. When talking with Pilca she and Totori will have a short conversation about Piana and the Devil which is sealed in the tower. Once the scene is over you can talk to her again. From now on she will sell you items (you need to stay in front of the table, like you do directly after the scene - standing next to Pilca will prevent you from buying something). Buy the Dragon Tusk and leave the village then. Visit Totori's atelier from time to time to trigger events with Piana. The third of it triggers in case Rorona is not in your team. The event afterwards is with Rorona as well and will lead you to getting the "Still a Child" trophy during a scene with Ceci at the Wharf. You can enjoy some other events with Piana about her new life with you. But they are not necessary for the trophy.

Once you visit Rorona's atelier after talking with Pilca, Rorona tells her precious student about her idea of how to open the gate of the tower. Take Rorona with you and teleport/travel back to Alanya. Visit Pamela then and she will agree to join you.

Now take Sterkenburg and Mimi with you. Be sure Sterkenburg and Mimi have an armor made with a Velvetis and a weapon made with a Dragon Tusk (one of those weapons can be dropped by the Flauschtraut). Be also sure, at least Sterkenburg gets the "Demon Repel" ability and in case you haven't bought or not even made the Iksel Courses and N/A bombs or Lightning Quartzes I recommended you to make, register and buy, do it now. It is also good to get some Nectars or Mystery Ankhs for KO-Recovery and additional effects. Maybe you haven't even made three Shadow Bands until now. If that's the case, it is about time.

Your next step is to train at the Dusk Throne. Don't take your new items with you, just the Secret Bag. Wait until you reach the location north of Arland and then put your Iksel Courses out of the Secret Bag. With it and the Shadow Bands (while Totori has a Gibate Ankh), combined with Sterkenburg's "Sword Blitz" you wipe the floor of the Dusk Throne with the monsters. You can always regenerate Sterkenburg's Magic Points with the Iksel Courses, so there is no problem. Repeat that process until you reach ~Level 45 with Totori, Sterk and Mimi. Then travel back to Arland and buy some new Iksel Courses. 5-10 are enough, but leave them in your container.

Now teleport/travel back to Alanya Village, look for your Chims (in case they already have their 35+ grand pies you can tell them to stop if you want) and save. Take off with your ship and travel to Lichtein Söhnle north-east of the Farthest Village without entering. Take out everything recommended (Iksel Courses, N/As or Lightning Quartzes, Nectar or Mystery Ankhs, et cetera) and give Totori the third Shadow Band. When entering the location, a scene with Pamela will trigger, she will open the gate of the tower for you and you will get the "Haunted Doll?" trophy.

You will automatically enter the tower and face the Devil.

Now get ready for the final battle!

The Devil Evil Face:

http://i.imgur.com/cY30CQfl.jpg

HP: 6666

Attacks:

- Wing Slicer (physical attack, ~50 damage)

- Merciful Curse (status attack, ~40 damage, all, decreases status)

- Thousand Needles (physical attack, ~40 damage, all)

- Evolution (healing move, heals 250 Hit Points)

- Conjuration (summoning move, summons 2 Black Demons)

- The Fallen (super move, deals ~150 damage, every 4-5 rounds)

Strategy:

Gisela's super enemy is strong. Actually he is very strong. Without a level close to the recommended one, certain equipment and useful items you will probably not succeed in destroying him. But in case you did as the walkthrough told you, this battle is easy as pie. Totori's first turn should be using one of the bombs which decreases the status of the Devil. Her second should be healing one of your team members. Normally Totori herself doesn't get too many damage. Only her Shadow Band drains her HP, so you can concentrate on healing Sterk and Mimi most of the time. Sterkenburg and Mimi should use "Judgment" and "Himmel Waltz" as often as they can and with the additional "MP Recovery"-effect of your self-made Iksel Course you will be able to use them as often as you need them. Especially the "Demon Repel" ability will help you out here since you will always do Critical Hits. Guarding Totori is natural, as well as assisting her from time to time in case she really attacks (which is not necessary as long as the Devil is not healed from his status ailments). The Devil attacks two times in a row and uses some all-target moves, including the "Merciful Curse". This one causes status ailments, but that's why your Iksel Courses should have the "Cure-All" ability. Once the devil has only about half of his Hit Points left, he uses "Evolution" which gives him back 250 Hit Points, followed by "Conjuration". The last one is a summon-move which he uses to call 2 Black Demons to help him. Using two "Sword Blitzes" with Sterk should be enough to annihilate them. If not, Mimi can take care of the rest. You can go on like before, but you should definitely be sure to keep an eye on your Hit Points since the Devils super move "The Fallen" which he uses the first time soon after he has lost half of his HP, can easily KO one character. However in case you were healing your characters like recommended, even that move is not really dangerous. So continue with your turns and just like the battle against the Flauschtraut the special moves "Licht schneiden" and "Einzelkämpfer" will show the Devil who's boss and be part of destroying him fast and easily in the end.

After destroying the Devil another conversation with Pilca will happen.

Afterwards continue your training with Sterk and Mimi just like you did before and once Totori and Mimi are Level 50, a scene with Mimi will trigger (be sure to max out your Adventurer Level normally or something may hinder the scene from triggering, in case Totori and Mimi are already Level 50 and the scene did not trigger, just train another character to Level 50 while both Totori and Mimi are in your team and the scene should trigger then).

So ... now you have done almost everything you needed to do for getting the other trophies!

Be sure your Chims have eaten their 35+ grand pies. And also be sure to buy items until you have a bit less than 500000 Cole.

Then save.

Continues on Page 2.

Well, that seems to be as clear a guide as any! I'm starting my Atelier Rorona Platinum run before doing Totori (and the third game is almost here as well!). I'm sure this will be very, very useful!

In case you are not sure if you can get all trophies by using the walkthrough since I have not posted the exact data there combine it with the Trophy Guide. Everything should be fine then. The walkthrough is pretty much what I did during my "True Ending" run.

_________________________________________________________________

The Walkthrough continues:

Now do one Friend Request for one character. The characters appear for Friend Requests in the atelier of the village/town where you can hire them, excluding Sterk sometimes. You don't need to sleep every time to trigger a Friend Request. Your friends ask Totori randomly and even opening and closing the synthezising or sleeping window is enough to make them appear. Nevertheless it is random, so be patient. Once one Friend Request is fulfilled and your friend is above Friendship Level 60, sleep until your Adventurer's License expires. While doing that for all six of your friends (with loading the other save data and doing a Friend Quest for the chosen character), you will get the ending of that character and the "Two Masters", "Promises", "Adventurer BFFs", "A New Journey", "Who's the Teacher?" and the "Indecisive Knight" trophies.

NOW load your data and do NO Friend Quest. Get your 500000 Cole and sleep until your Adventurer's License expires.

Congratulations! You will now see the most beautiful ending of all, the one and only "True Ending" and get its trophy together with the Platinum trophy "First-Rate Adventurer"!

I want a very straight opinion:

I like Rune factory, Final fantasy, long-term RPGs (those that take like a month to "complete"), would you recommend this for me?

its like rune factory (building up friendships) and final fantasy (battle system) i love final fantasy and rune factory and found these games to be a great surprise

Why not ?

I need to ask him for the final permission. I have talked with him many times in this forum but I don't know if he accepts the credit I give him and how I wrote the guide since the triggering data are from his thread. Of course those are the right data so it would not really change anything but I have read them in his thread first and then I have used them here - and I have also checked them, of course.

But I simply want to give him the credit he deserves.

Thank you for the trophy guide, another one of my games I have on hold, it is my first Atelier game so I really don't know what to expect, I have played up to the beginning where you have first experience on how alchemy works. I notice how it is mention that time passes by when you do actions like looking for ingredients, resting and alchemy. Is it recommendable that I use a walkthrough aswell, seeing as I'm actually afraid to progress any further do to feeling like I wasted time on exploring for ingredients and such.

Well, I recommend to use one, but first I would at least try one round out by myself. It is not so long if you use a guide so a 2nd or 3rd try is no problem.

Cetra,

Just a reminder to submit your guide in the submit forum when you're finished with the guide. We can then review it and get it stuck. If you need any assistance with this let me know.

Thanks

Satoshi hasn't logged on in over two months. You need to submit this guide and let us worry about how to handle the credits. It can't sit in the forums any longer waiting.

Thanks
