Introduction

Arland, a small kingdom located at the edge of a great land; it used to be an isolated kingdom, stricken with poverty. One day, however, fortune smiled upon the kingdom when ancient relics, called "Machines", were discovered among the nearby ruins.

Inside this kingdom, stands a forgotten workshop. The workshop was once very busy, but due to the discovery of Machines, or perhaps the workshop owner's laziness, customer's no longer show up.

One day, a messenger from the castle visits the workshop to deliver an order from the king. According to the order, the workshop would be closed down if the owner could not prove, in three years time, that she was capable of doing her job.

However, even after hearing such news, the workshop owner remained unmotivated. After dumping her responsibilities onto her pupil, she leaves the workshop.

Left at the workshop was a girl, bewildered by the shocking news. The girl's name is Rorolina Frixell, but everyone in town calls her Rorona.

ROADMAP

Note: Make sure you make multiple saves. I personally had 3 saves, one at the beginning of each assignment, one at the beginning of each year, and another save where I save every one or two days so so I can make town and NPC requests in my benefit.

Also, when playing the game, refer to these tips when going through the game. Trust me, it'll make your adventure within this game much, much easier.

Finally, before you read the Road Map, make 2 separate saves:

  • Make a save at the beginning of Year 3
  • Make a save at the beginning of Assignment 12

1) Play through the game till the beginning of Assignment 12.

From the moment you begin your game to the beginning of Assignment 12, you will be working on the following:

  • Earn 8 Stars and 8 Stars only on each assignment
  • Reaching 80% Town Popularity via Front Desk requests from Etsy
  • Earn 100% Friendship Level with everybody
  • Reach Lv. 50 with both Rorona and Cordelia

For each Kingdom Assignment, make sure you earn 8 stars and 8 stars only. This is so that during Assignment 12, you can manipulate the amount of stars you need to earn in order to trigger a desired ending. By the end of Assignment 11, you should have 88 Stars.

As soon as Esty's Front Requests open up, make sure you check up on her every day and see which ones you can quickly accomplish. A lot of times, she will request items that you can purchase off from stores, , whereas you can just buy them off the stores and complete right away. Often times, she will also request items you can get from dungeon's or monster drops. In cases like this, "contemplate" before accepting to see if you have enough items in your container first. Once Monster Bounties open up on Year 1 (10/1), accept them to work towards completing your Monster Encyclopedia.

As with Front Requests, complete Friend Requests as much as possible. A new request opens up every 4 days. Your goal is to reach 100% with each of them. Why? As with the Assignments, this is so you can manipulate which character ending you get. With everyone at 100%, it will be easy for you to drop it when you go for the different endings. If they two character's friendship is at 100 one canceled request will allow you to see another characters' ending.

A neat trick I like to do is to make a save on the 3rd day before an NPC's new request opens up. That way, if they request something that isn't time efficient or I don't have, I can reload an old save and try again. The same can be done for Esty's quests, but its not necessary. Following this method, you should have each character at 100% in the middle of Year 2.

Finally, during your playthrough, make sure Cordelia's in your party 24/7, as you'll need her at Lv. 50 along with Rorona for the Adventurer's Ending. That way, when you head into dungeons to level up and collect items, she'll level up at the same time as Rorona. As for your third party member, consider taking Iksel, since you'll be required to bring him to each dungeon as per his character flag.

Keep all this in mind, and enjoy the game. At the beginning of Assigment 12, SAVE! You will be using this save to earn the other endings.

2) Use your save from Assignment 12 to earn the rest of the endings.

You will be going for the endings in the following order:

  • Astrid Ending
  • Lionela + Tantris Ending
  • Cordelia + Gio Ending
  • Adventurer Ending
  • Iksel + Sterk Ending
  • True/Normal/Good Ending
  • Bad Ending
  • Pie Ending
  • Millionaire Ending

From this point forward, you will be reloading and saving to obtain the different types of endings. Please refer to the link below for details:

Generic Endings such as Good and Bad require the stars you earned through Assignments to be lower than 94. This is why you should only be earning 8 stars (no more, no less) from Assignments 1-11 if you wish to earn all the endings all in one playthrough. Assignment stars cannot be lowered, so once you go over 94, there's no going back!

Character Endings require you to match them with a specific Generic Ending. In addition, you must trigger certain Character Flag's throughout your playthrough; a character's Flag is triggered when all the events required for each character is activated. Whereas you can only trigger Character Endings one at a time, you can fulfill all Character Flags in one playthrough. This allows you to have everything ready near the end of your playthrough, allowing you to simply manipulate Friendship Levels to trigger specific endings.

Refer to the guide below for the events you need to trigger during your playthrough. Again, activating all of the events for a character will activate his/her Flag.

3) Load up your save from Year 3 for clean up.

By clean up, I'm referring to cleaning up your encyclopedia. If you haven't been synthesizing much, made enough money, etc. Use this save to clean up. With all the endings now earned, you won't have to worry about triggering certain events.

Obtained after the event where the workshop is passed down to Rorona.

Story Related. Non-missable.

This is one of those trophies you earn by simply just starting the game. Go through the initial cutscenes, and the workshop will be passed on to Rorona after meeting Cordelia, also unlocking your trophy.

Obtained after clearing the 1st assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 1st Assignment (Year 1, 1/20 - 3/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Polish Powder
  • Zettel
  • Alchemy Coal

To keep it simple, only turn in Zettel's to Sterk. You can get Zettel's by purchasing them off Tiffani in R&T's Sundries.

Save your Polish Powder's and Alchemy Coal's for Iksel and Hagel since they will be requesting these items as part of their Friend Requests. It takes 2 days to make them anyways, so it isn't official.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 2 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 2nd assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 2nd Assignment (Year 1, 4/1 - 6/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Bomb
  • Barrel
  • Cannon

Only make Barrels and Bombs when fulfilling this assignment; the time and effort required to make the Cannon's is not worth it. If possible, save your Bombs so that you can use them for yourself in dungeons or for Sterk's Friend Requests. Consider buying the Quality 80 water from Tiffani's when making the Barrels.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg The Puppet Show Begins (B)

Obtained after the first Lionela event.

Story Related. Non-missable.

Sometime during the beginning of Assignment 3, around 9/7, you'll automatically view a scene in which you're introduced to Lionela. She'll eventually stop by the workshop and introduce herself, along with unlocking this trophy.

For your 3rd Assignment (Year 1, 7/1 - 9/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Witch Salve
  • Beast Statue
  • Healing Aroma

Focus on making Witch Salves and Beast Statues. As always, remember the higher the quality of the items you turn in, the more stars you'll earn. If possible, save a few of the Beast Statue's in your inventory, as Gio and Cordelia will eventually be requesting them as well.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg The Cabbage Girl (B)

Obtained by winning the Cabbage Festival contest.

At the end of your 3rd Assignment, on Year 1, 12/20, a festival will be held in the kingdom in which you'll be forced into participate a contest. What contest? A cabbage picking contest...

The contest is simple, it requires you to gather as many cabbages as possible in this unique area within the time limit. You only need to pick up around 40+ cabbages to win this event and earn the trophy. However, do try your best to gather as many cabbages as possible as this is the only time you can obtain high quality cabbages.

Save before finishing Assignment 3, and come into this event with an empty basket. That way, you won't have waste time emptying your basket; every cabbage picked up counts as one, so even if you discard it, it still counts.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 4 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 4th assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 4th Assignment (Year 1, 10/1 - 12/20), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • [Food] Category Items

Your first easy assignment. Rather than waste time creating these items via alchemy, you can just buy the items from Iksel in Sunrise Cafe. Contrary to the game's description, Sterk is actually looking for [Cooking] items. Turn in items such as Pies, Teas, and Soup as early as possible, and you'll have the majority of the months off.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg The Wandering Bard (B)

Obtained after the first Tantris event.

Story Related. Non-missable.

Right as you begin Year 2, you'll be given the option to meet up with Tantris or visiting the newly unlocked Catacombs and bring back a Teddy Bear. I recommend getting Tantris first.

Head to the Nearby Forest in Year 2, 1/1, after you take care of whatever loose ends you have, and you'll meet up with him. Going to Nearby Forest and back will take 2 days, so immediately after traveling to the Forest, head back to the workshop. Finish some quests as usual, and Tantris will stop by the workshop and properly introduce himself around 1/6. View the scene, and the trophy will unlock shortly afrerwards.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg The Ghost & Teddy Bear (B)

Obtained after the first Pamela event.

Story Related. Non-missable.

Right as you begin Year 2, you'll be given the option to meet up with Tantris or visiting the newly unlocked Catacombs and bring back a Teddy Bear. I recommend getting Tantris first.

Soon after getting Tantris, whenever you have the time, travel to the newly unlocked dungeon, Catacombs. In the very first area, take the exit that is further down the hall, not the first one, and you'll eventually reach the Ghost Assembly. A short scene will occur, and Rorona will bring the Teddy Bear with her.

Head back to the workshop after this, and you'll meet the ghost who was residing in the Bear, Pamela. After a few scenes, the trophy will unlock as well.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 5 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 5th assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 5th Assignment (Year 2, 1/1 - 3/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Tonic

Now would be a good time to use those high quality cabbages you picked up earlier from the Festival. You can obtain Magic Grass from Tiffani over at R&T's Sundries. Submitting just one high quality Tonic will sometimes earn you 8 if not all 10 stars.

If possible, complete this request before 1/15, as Tiffani will stop selling Magic Grass. You would have to harvest them via the Nearby Forest instead.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 6 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 6th assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 6th Assignment (Year 2, 4/1 - 6/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Killing Vultures in Nearby Forest

Another easy assignment. Each group of Vulture killed equals a star. To complete this assignment simply head onto the Nearby Forest and kill Vultures until you have 8 stars. Try your best to complete this as early as possible, so you can have the rest of the days to do whatever you want.

As with the assignment's description, only Vultures killed in Nearby Forest counts towards the total, so don't worry about fighting Vultures in other dungeons. They won't add stars to your assignment.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 7 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 7th assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 7th Assignment (Year 1, 7/1 - 9/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Bomb Ice
  • Spring Cup

If you followed Krystal109's guide and registered Bomb Ice's and Spring Cups for Wholesale, then its just a matter of buying the items in stores and submitting them to Sterk. You can register Bomb Ices with Hagel, and Spring Cups to Pamela, in case you didn't know.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 8 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 8th assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 8th Assignment (Year 1, 10/1 - 12/20), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Cannon
  • Barrel

Not sure why they're asking for these again, but an easy assignment again nonetheless. Again, if you followed Krystal109's suggestion with Wholesale, buy them off stores and submit them to Sterk like so. You can outright ignore the Cannon's. You can register Barrels with Tiffani in case you didn't know.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/02.jpg Martial Master (S)

Obtained by winning the Martial Contest.

Much like the Cabbage Festival, an event will be held at the end of Year 2 after finishing Assignment 8. This time however, instead of a gathering contest, you'll be challenged to an arena match. You'll be pitted against 3 battles, with Sterk fighting you in the final battle. If you followed my suggestion and made Tera Bombs, this battle will be a piece of cake. If not, consider spamming the other types of bombs instead. You must win this battle to earn the trophy.

If your friendship with Gio is 60 points or higher (which by this point it should be), you'll be forced into a battle with him. You can win or lose this event, it doesn't matter in terms of his Flag, or the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 9 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 9th assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 9th Assignment (Year 3, 1/1 - 3/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Komet
  • Arland Crystal

Ignore the Arland Crystal's, they take too much effort to make. Sunny Crystals, an ingredient required for making Komet's can be bought off of Cole's shop, or Pamela's shop. If you want, you can hunt for crystals in Ster Highlands as well.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 10 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 10th assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 10th Assignment (Year 3, 4/1 - 6/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • Shadow Grass
  • Dark Coral
  • Midnight Flower

A new area will open up, Night's Domain as part of this assignment. All three items can only be found in here.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment 11 (B)

Obtained after clearing the 11th assignment.

Story Related. Non-missable.

For your 11th Assignment (Year 3, 7/1 - 10/30), you'll be asked for the following items:

  • [sundry] Items

[sundry] items, range from Barrels to Pure Oils. Another easy request, all these items can be bought from stores. You will most likely complete this assignment the day you get it.

As always, only earn 8 stars for this assignment and 8 stars only.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Assignment's Cleared! (B)

- At the workshop, Sterk will drop by and warn you about a dragon in Ster Highlands, Sumi Stern (unlocked by shopping at Cole's at least 3 times, earliest around Year 2, 5/15)

Till Year 3, 7/1

- With Sterk in your party, go on ahead and fight the Dragon. Along the way, a couple of scenes will occur. The battle starts automatically.

- You MUST face this guy before Year 3, 7/1.

- You do not have to win. If you lose, you can put off killing the dragon until next time. Defeating Sumi however, will net you the Honorable Injury trophy. Sterk will be out of your party for 80 days after the battle though.

- Make sure to have more than 80 days left in the game when you kill the dragon. The event in which he returns is required for the Flag.

*Note that Sterk is required to unlock Orthogalaxen (around Year 3, 3/1). So unlock it before killing Suni Sterm.

Miscellaneous Related Trophies

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Adventurer Lv. 50 (B)

Obtained by reaching Adventurer Level 50.

You will unlock this trophy when Rorona reaches Lv. 50. The requirements for the Adventurer Ending requires both Rorona and Cordelia to reach Lv. 50, so if you followed the walkthrough and my suggestion in the Road Map, you'll earn this naturally.

Remember time doesn't pass once you're in an area; days only go by if you travel to a new area. That said, make sure you defeat all the enemies in an area before leaving.

A good place to grind is in the last "dungeon" you unlock as you progress the game, called Orthogalaxian. Before you begin your grind, bring a few Windrider items before you head to the dungeon. Windrider's allow you to automatically return to the workshop, so the amount of days it takes to return will always equal to one day. You can find the recipe for Windrider as a treasure in Lost City, so refer to the Krystal109's Item Guide if for some reason you haven't done so already.

Level 7 of Orthrogalaxian has 12 Bunny Puni's that you can fight. Each defeated Bunny Puni will net you 400 Exp. Simply clean out the area, return to the workshop via the use of a Windrider, and repeat. For efficiency, register the Windrider for Wholesale at Pamela's Shop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Alchemy Lv. 50 (B)

Obtained by reaching Alchemy Level 50.

When you're not gathering items in dungeons, you're performing alchemy in the comfort of your workshop. Reach Lv. 50 in alchemy, and the trophy will unlock. You will most likely unlock this naturally.

After the initial first Year, money should not pose as a problem. As a general rule, the higher Lv. an item requires to make (located in the top right corner of each item during synthesis), the more Exp you'll earn. In addition, when synthesizing, take note of the amount of days that's required to make the item. For example, it takes 1 day to make a Supplement, but it also only takes 1 day to make 5 Supplements. Learn to create as many items as possible in the lowest amount of time to earn the most experience.

To make synthesizing more efficient in terms of time wise, have Hom do all the gathering for you if you have no reason to head to a dungeon. Not only does this level him/her up as well, it'll save you time.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Dragonbane (B)

Obtained by defeating one of the dragons.

Kill a dragon, any 1 of the 5 dragons to unlock this trophy:

  • Dragon - Orthogalaxen
  • Fran Pfeil - Orthogalaxen
  • Sumi Sterm - Ster Highlands
  • Helstrom - Lost City
  • Black Dragon - Night's Domain

Note that however, dragon's won't start showing up until Sterk mentions about Sumi Stern in Year 3.

In terms of strategy, there really isn't any. Aside from going into the battles with best possible armor (with the traits I recommended). If you've followed my advice and made the Ultimate Tera Bomb, simply chuck one and move on. Simple enough.

You will get this naturally, since you'll be required to fight Sumi for Sterk's Flag, not to mention fighting the other dragons to complete your encyclopedia.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Demon Hunter (B)

Obtained by defeating a demon at Night's Domain.

You can find the "Demon" in Night's Domain, in the final area, Night Ruler.

Again, no strategies are needed if you've followed my advice and made the Ultimate Tera Bomb. If for some reason you don't have it made by this point in the game, make sure you come into the battle equipped in the best armor and weapons you can make with the traits I suggested. Spam attack items, skills, and heal when necessary and you'll defeat the boss in no time. The battles in this game are really not that hard.

Defeating both the Demon and Iron Giant is required for the Adventurer's Ending, so you will earn this trophy naturally.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Destroyer (B)

Obtained by defeating Iron Giant at Orthrogalaxen.

You can find the "Iron Giant" in Orthogalaxen, in the final area, Floor 15.

As mentioned in the Demon Hunter, no strategies are needed, simply throwing your overpowered Tera Bomb will end the battle rather quickly.

Defeating both the Demon and Iron Giant is required for the Adventurer's Ending, so you will earn this trophy naturally.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/02.jpg Monster Complete (S)

Obtained by collecting all Monster info.

There are a total of 65 monster you can encounter in this game:

  • 38 Regular Monsters
  • 10 Special Monsters
  • 10 Bounty Monsters
  • 5 Dragons
  • And 2 Special Bosses

You must at least encounter the monsters in order for it to register into your encyclopedia. To check your progress at anytime, refer to the Encyclopedia in your :start: menu, under "Monsterpedia".

Monster Checklist

[spoiler=monster]

http://i.imgur.com/p9nR62a.png

Regular Monsters can all be found in dungeons. As long as you go to each area, you'll encounter them all. Strong Monsters on the other hand, only appear when Rorona's Adventure Lv. is 30 or higher. When you're selecting an area in a dungeon, the map will notify you that a "Super Dangerous Monster" if a Special Monster is in that area. They usually reside in the final area of each dungeon.

There are two types of bounties that Esty offers. The first one is for normal monsters, in which you must kill a certain amount of. The other one, are for unique monsters that only appear by accepting her requests. Those are what I refer to as Bounty Monsters. The chance for Esty to request a bounty is completely random, so you will have to either keep reloading until she requests it or sleep in your workshop until she does. That's why as a general rule, if you see her requesting a bounty, accept it if you can handle it, since they rarely appear. When you look at a dungeon map a "Target Monster" will be listed where the enemy is located.

Finally, with Dragon's, they won't start appearing until Sterk mentions about Sumi Stern in Year 3. The two Special Bosses however, will appear regardless of your level when you approach the end of their areas. They will be in the final areas of their specific dungeons.

Once you've filled up the encyclopedia with all 65 monster info, enter the menu via :start:. The trophy should unlock shortly.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/02.jpg Item Complete (S)

Obtained by collecting all Item info

All materials, consumables, equipment, and synthesis items are required to complete the encyclopedia:

  • 65 Materials
  • 68 Consumables
  • 67 Equipment
  • And 20 Synthesis Items

To register the items to your encyclopedia, you can either obtain them through synthesis, enemy drops, harvesting from dungeons, or bought from the stores. Note that trading in tickets through Esty will not register the item.

To check your progress at anytime, refer to the Encyclopedia in your :start: menu.

Item Checklist

[spoiler=aritems]

http://i.imgur.com/E7SHVT2.png

Materials are all gotten through harvesting points in dungeons and through monster drops. Note that hidden ingredients such as Mudheads and Triberries will only become available by triggering events for each dungeon with Iksel in your party (as part of his Flag).

Consumables and Synthesis Items wise, note that if you've obtained the recipe to make a certain item, it'll appear in your encyclopedia. You must however, actually craft the item for it to count.

For the sake of efficiency, consider buying Ingots/Cloths from Cole when making weapons or armor for character's you don't plan to use.

Once you've finished filling up your encyclopedia, an event will occur between Rorona and Astrid in the workshop, as well as unlocking your trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/02.jpg Hom Lv. 50 (S)

Obtained by reaching Hom Level 50

In Year 1, 11/10, Astrid will initially ask Rorona, if she ever wanted a sibling, would she prefer a sister more or a brother more. Your answer will determine the gender of Hom. This is mainly just a cosmetic preference so to speak, it has no effect on the trophy. You will be introduced to Hom as a party member in Year 2, 1/11.

So who is Hom? Basically, he/she will serve as your helper. You can send him/her to gather materials for you (at the expense of lower quality) or have him/her synthesize items for you. Doing either, will level him/her up. I highly recommend using him/her to gather items only; you're better off synthesizing the items yourself. The higher level dungeon you send him/her to, the faster it'll gain levels.

Hom will be your main source in making money anyways, especially when you work towards earning your 1,000,000 Cole for the Rich Ending (refer to Rich Ending for more details). You will most likely get this easily. Make sure you constantly keep Hom busy by sending him/her out to gather ingredients, and it'll reach Lv.50 in no time.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/02.jpg Trust 100 (S)

Obtained by reaching Trust Level 100.

Trust Level is basically your Town Popularity. Similar to the Friend Requests, Popularity is gained by completing requests offered by Esty in the Palace. The difference between them however, is that these Front Requests gets replaced every day.

Most of what she asks will be things you can simply buy from the stores, as well as simple items you find when traversing dungeons, such as Puniballs. She'll often ask you to create certain items, but they're not worth the time and effort. Simply make a habit of checking up on her everyday, completing requests that you can buy from stores, and you'll reach 100% in no time.

As you progress through the game, she'll start offering you bounties, which requires you to travel to a specific dungeon and slain them. Contemplate before accepting them to make sure you can defeat them. Note that these aren't missable, but are just simply hard to get specific ones to appear. You can keep reloading and saving till she offers them during clean up, but I advise you to complete them ASAP if possible.

As mentioned in the Road Map and Walkthrough, it is advised you reach only 80%, so you can lower or raise it to get the different endings. Once you're at 80%, consider making a save, do requests till you reach 100% to earn the trophy, then reload the previous save to continue what you were doing.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/02.jpg NPC Friendship 100 (S)

Obtained by reaching Friendship Level 100 with everyone.

To unlock this trophy, you must have your Friendship Level at 100 for all of the following characters:

  • Iksel (Sunrise Cafe)
  • Hagel (Beefy Weapons Shop)
  • Tiffani (R&T Sundries Store)
  • Cordelia (Town Square, in front of the statue)
  • Sterk (Palace Hallway)
  • Lionela (Industrial District, all the way to the right, hiding in a corner)
  • Gio (Main Street, further down to the left past your house)
  • Tantris (Town Square, to the left of Cordelia)
  • Cole(Industrial District, by Lionela near the barrels)
  • Pamela (Pamela's Store)

As I've mentioned, Friend Requests gets replaced every 4 days. It is best to reach 100% with each character as soon as they're available. The longer you hold off in doing this, the harder it becomes to fulfill their requests. Their requests will start off simple, and gradually become harder and harder with each assignment. Also, if there's a recipe that becomes unlocked, they'll start asking you for it despite the fact you don't have access to the materials yet.

A simple trick to get around all this is to save on the third day before a character's request. Progress towards the fourth day, and check up on the character you're trying to complete the request with. If they ask for something that takes a long time to make or out of your league, reload your previous save. In addition, when making items, check the days it requires to make the item. If it takes the same amount of days to make x1 or x2 of the item, make x2. You can put it in your container and bring it back out if they request it again.

Doing this to each character, and you should easily reach 100% with all of them before the end of Year 2, earning you the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Hom and Kitten (B)

Obtained after the event with Hom and the kitten.

From Year 2, Month 7 and onwards, any time you synthesize items in your workshop, you have a random chance in triggering several events that involve Hom and a kitten.

After watching a few of these events, you will eventually unlock the trophy. Unless you straight out stop crafting in Year 2, Month 7 till the end of the game, you will unlock this naturally.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg Drunken Tiffani (B)

Obtained after the event with a drunken Tiffani.

Unlike Hagel, in addition to unlocking extra events to watch when you raise Tiffani's Friendship, you can earn yourself a trophy. Below is the list of events that occur when raising Tiffani's friendship:

  • Some time in Year 1, an event will trigger about her being sick will when you go to her store
  • 40 Friendship - Head to the Sunrise Cafe for a scene involving Tiffani. Note that this will steal 1 Day from you, so do everything else before then
  • 60 Friendship - Head to Sunrise Cafe again for another scene. Again, this will steal another day from you

View the last event, and the trophy will unlock shortly after.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/765/01.jpg To the Lake (B)

Obtained after the event where Rorona goes to the lake with everyone.

To activate this event, you will need to have the following requirements met with certain characters by Year 2, 7/1:

  • Cordelia - Friendship 30+
  • Lionela - Friendship 20+
  • Pamela recruited from the Catacombs and has opened her shop

If you have the above requirements met, an event will occur on Year 2, 7/8 in which Rorona and friends will make a trip to the nearby lake, unlocking the trophy along the way. Note that the trip will last for 10 days (7/8 - 7/18), so plan ahead if you have outstanding requests.

If you followed my advice in following Krystal109's walkthrough, you'll earn this naturally.

All Endings Walkthrough:

All in one playthrough

http://i.imgur.com/zC14RPy.jpg

As I've mentioned, this game is all about obtaining all the different endings. At this point in the guide, it is assumed you followed the Road Map's suggestion and Krystal109's Walkthrough, up to the beginning of Assignment 12:

  • Earned a total of 88 stars in Assignments
  • Reaching 80% Town Popularity
  • 100% Friendship Requests
  • All Character Flags/Events triggered

Make a save at the beginning of Assignment 12.

To obtain all the different endings in one playthrough, we will be reloading the save at the beginning of Assignment 12. Since you've triggered all the Character Flags/Events, its just a matter manipulating the amount of stars we earn and Town Popularity you earn in order to determine the type of ending you get. This determines the type of "generic ending" you get.

Remember, the character with the highest friendship (given that no character with a different ending requirement is highest) will be triggered for the Character Ending.

Load 1 - Astrid Ending

  • Assignment 12: 6+ Stars
  • Town Popularity: 80+

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn Astrid's Ending.

Load 2 - Tantris' and Lionela's Ending

  • Assignment 12: 6+ Stars
  • Town Popularity: Less than 80
  • Tantris and Lionela Friendship at 100, other characters below 100

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn Tantris' and Lionela's Ending.

Load 3 - Cordelia's and Gio's Ending

  • Assignment 12: 6+ Stars
  • Town Popularity: 80+
  • Cordelia and Gio Friendship at 100, other characters below 100

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn Cordelia's and Gio's Ending.

Load 4 - Adventurer Ending

  • Assignment 12: 6+ Stars
  • Town Popularity: 80+
  • Rorona and Cordelia Lv. 50
  • Defeat the "Demon" at Night's Domain
  • Defeat the "Iron Giant" at Orthogalaxe

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn Adventurer Ending.

Load 5 -Iksel's and Sterk's Ending

  • Assignment 12: Less than 6 Stars
  • Town Popularity: 80+
  • Iksel and Sterk Friendship at 100, other characters below 100

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn Iksel's and Sterk's Ending.

Load 6-8 -True, Normal, and Good Ending

  • True Ending: Assignment Stars 94+, Popularity 80+
  • Good Ending: Assignment Stars less than 94, Popularity 80+
  • Normal Ending: Assignment Stars 94+, Popularity less than 80

To get the generic endings, match a a character with the wrong generic ending. For example, Cordelia's Ending requires you to match her with the True Ending. If you match Cordelia with the requirements for the Normal Ending, you will watch the Normal Ending instead of Tantris or Lionela.

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn True, Normal, and Good Ending respectively.

Load 9 -Bad Ending

  • Bad Ending: Assigment Stars less than 94, Popularity less than 80

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn Bad Ending.

Pie and Rich Ending

Now hopefully, you've followed the guide's advice and made 80+ Pies whenever you had the time. Make sure to leave one pie to make. Also, by if you listened to the walkthrough or the guide and made good use of Hom, you should be swimming in money.

Now simply do the following:

  • Trigger Lionela or Tantris' event up to the point where you have to craft an item for them. Don't craft it yet.
  • Make every pie as soon as possible. ALL EXCEPT ONE.

Make another save, preferably in the last month.

Load 10 - Pie Ending

  • Make the last pie in the game
  • Make Lionela's or Tantris' item

Make sure you're not on route to the Normal Ending path, since you're triggering Lionela's/Tantris' character flag.

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn Pie Ending.

Load 10 - Rich Ending

  • Trigger a Generic Ending (except for Bad)
  • Do not trigger any of the Character Flags
  • Have a total of 1,000,000 Cole

Simply sleep your way through to the end of the assignment once the requirements have been met. You will earn Rich Ending.

Some tips when playing the game:

http://i.imgur.com/1WE76DG.jpg

- Making the Ultimate Tera Bomb

Having trouble defeating certain enemies, mini boses, etc.? The game's most powerful attack item, is known as the Tera Bomb. This powerful bomb is capable of one hit killing almost every enemy in the game! You can find the recipe for the Tera Bomb under the book title "Escalario" in Ster Highlands, in the Snow Stone area.

To make the Tera Bomb, you need the following ingredients:

  • Bomb x3
  • [Gunpowder] x1
  • Suplpement x1

The traits you need when making the Ultimate Tera Bomb is as follows:

  • Quality 120
  • Restrain Range (Narrow Range +3 and Stable +3)
  • Narrow Range +3
  • Boost Quality +3 (Quality +3 and Boost Effect +3)
  • Boost Effect +3
  • Satisfying +3

When making the ingredients for the Tera Bomb, try your best to include these traits. When synthesizing, make sure these traits are in the Top 5 listed. Otherwise, it won't carry over when you synthesize a Tera Bomb. That said, try your best to include the above traits in Bombs and Supplements.

You can find most of the +3 ingredients in Dark Woods, either by harvesting yourself or sending Hom to gather for you.

Your Ultimate Tera Bomb should look something like this:

http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/atelierseries/images/e/eb/A11_item_067.png/revision/latest?cb=20120709233956

Courtesy of the official wiki.

- Equipment Tips

Overall, the random battles you encounter as you traverse the many dungeons are pretty easy, if you want to survive against the mini bosses when you take on bounties, completing your encylopedia and whatnot, you'll need to properly equip yourself.

Those Ingots/Cloths you can buy off Cole whenever he visits? Other than using them them to complete Etsy's Front Requests or synthesizing an equipment to complete the encylopeida that you don't plan to use, they're not good to use. You will need to synthesize the Ingots/Cloths yourself if you want to even remotely survive; a high Lv. doesn't do anything in this game.

When synthesizing, try to include the following traits:

  • Convert Damage - This will allow your armor to transfer part of the damage you inflict into health. Convert 1 might not seem like a lot, but 2 and 3, especially when you have both can lead to some pretty substantial health gains.
  • Element traits - These will increase your damage. The more you elemets you attach, the higher the damage you can do overtime.
  • Attack + /Full Ability - The stats boost from Full Ability are good to have. They compensate for the Defense/Speed traits.
  • Skill Cost -/Skill +/Skill Expertise - Though not needed, if you can, including these will help especially when you're in the higher levels.

Accessories don't really matter in this game, especially if your equipment has the above traits. Combine this with a powerful Tera Bomb, and you basically made the battles in this game a joke.

- Different types of Cloth/Ingots

When making different types of Ingots/Cloths, when you're picking out which materials to use, you can check what type of metal/cloth will be produced at the top left corner of the screen. Obviously if you haven't made that type of metal yet, it'll be listed as "????", but once you've create a type for the first time, it'll replace the question marks.

Below is a list of the different types of Ingot/Cloth you can create, as well as the materials needed to produced the desired effect. Ones with a (???) beside them are materials I am unsure of what it is in English:

Ingots

Type | Materials

Nue Metal | Fest

Tinc | Pebble, Fest, Iron Clay, Snow Stone

Dry Metal | Iron Clay, Stim Stone, Gravistone, Snow Stone, Quake Crystal

Cloths

Type | Materials

Locloth | Zettel

Nylonfeather | Beast Fur

Silkis | Beast Fur, Chainweb, Glowgrass, Audra's Tail

Muffcot | Chainweb, Glowgrass, Cotton Flower, Some Slough

It looks fantastic from what I read of it. I replied to your post about wanting to make another guide for this game (back on Satoshi's guide), so you may have read my previous rant there.

It looks incredibly clean and informative, which is VERY necessary for this game. To any future readers I would HIGHLY suggest a supplementary walkthrough (like Krystal's) but also BE AWARE that there's a lot of speculative information about how to get things done. The game is almost 100% time management, and you may find yourself wasting a good chunk of your time running around doing unnecessary things, which may give you problems getting events triggered.

I found this platinum to be a huge headache, full of trial and error. Hopefully Bread's direction will give you a more enjoyable experience.

There are a few things that I noticed that are slightly inaccurate or it might help to clarify them a bit further (or just simply to share my experience with it). Would you like me to list them in a private message to you or should I just post them here? The post would be decently long though, I don't want to spam it up if you'd rather just fix it without the lengthy public display.

Oh, I was throwing together a Monster List if you wish to use it. Your guide seems good enough to scrap mine that I was writing, so I have zero use for it. I wrote down info about the stronger/special bounty monsters, including the name of the sub-area you find them in, as well as directions to get there.

I also have an Item List meant for reference. I didn't feel like putting too much information in it since you can find it all in game, but it can certainly be used as a checklist. So just let me know, on a post here or a message would do just fine as well.

I lied about being able to finish this guide by last week; this game requires so much detail, that its been quite hard to put into words!

Feel free to point out any mistakes in the guide by posting them here. I'm still working on the guide, so I'm still correcting them as I go. I actually have printable checklists for the two encyclopedia trophies; I'll see if I can format them properly and upload them tomorrow.

Glad to see someone's paying attention to the guide and I'm not just talking to myself :)

Checklists look great, I wish I had them while I was still playing lol

So a few things that I noticed in your guide and just some of my own experience with some events:

1) Your Pie Ending (under the trophy graphic) states you do *not* want to trigger any character's flag, but then later on in the guide, you give it a personal subsection, where it states to make the item for Lionela/Tantris, which does trigger their flag. That's contradicting lol and Krystal does seem to have it right; you need to flag a character's end that is NOT involved on your current pathway. If you want how I got it: I triggered Iksel's flag and was on the True End path, since I had over 94 stars and 80 trust. I got the ending on that, since Iksel's end is on the Good End path. I had a total of 3 attempts on this ending. The second, I went on True End and triggered no character flags, and I got the True End. So I know for a fact you need to trigger someone's.

2) Iksel's "cooking contest" event may not be necessary for his end, or a part of his flag. I've only managed to get that event to happen once, on my very first playthrough. My subsequent ones, when I was going for his end/Astrid's, I never triggered it. I believe you simply need to trigger the "special item" event in each area, and then see the scenes afterwards (after 3, 6, and 9 items). Got me wondering though, maybe the contest is a 1 time deal? Like, if you get it your first playthrough, save the clear data and go NG+, you may never get it again. Might be a moot point if you've managed 1 data file though, without a NG+.

3) I read that you stated you want to start working on "NPC Friendship 100" as soon as you can, just trying to get as many jobs done in the first part of the game as you can. You should put a little forewarning about this and Tiffani; I was going crazy my first playthrough trying to get her friendship up. She likes to ask for Eicholea (the mushroom) at the beginning, but so does Cordelia. It's my personal opinion that Cory should take priority. Sometimes during the second year on, Tiffani likes to ask for high quality Honey, which sometimes you have zero access to (from a lack of good quality Beehives) and Honey ends up being used in a lot of important recipes as well as being requested from Gio and Iksel (and they ask for lower quality).

So my advice: save Tiffani for Year 3, don't worry about her otherwise. You can still check however, and I WOULD suggest doing her "Normal Pan" request for easy money. She asks for 50 quality, and if you just jump to the weapon shop, buy the ingot, and then make it, it costs you ~350, and she gives you back ~750 for its completion. On a side note, she also does not require any friendship for Wholesale, so you don't have to worry about that.

4) Somewhat marginal mention about Cordelia's front quests: my first time getting her flag, it was irritating me a bit. Probably should keep the reader aware that after 3 of her front quests, there will be NONE until the third year, so don't bother looking for them. Also be aware that if you're looking for the first 3, they'll only open up once the areas with the items become available to you (i.e. Iron Clay is in National Mines). Finally, for *my* first time, she refused to offer anything on the third year until Night's Domain opened up (4th month) and then requested the two Shadow Roses. After I completed only that one, I got her final event. My second time for Astrid's, she offered one at the beginning of year 3, which I completed, but did not get the event. I did get it after the fifth one however.

Summary of that: the Shadow Rose Cory request may be the "final" one of hers. So just don't freak out if you don't get others after your third, be freaked out if she doesn't offer one when Night's Domain opens (assuming you haven't triggered the final event already).

5) You should note that the "Helmet" in the Item List is part of Hagel's friendship event, which requires at least 80 friendship (I think). Although not necessary for any ending, and you'll more than likely see it when going for "NPC Friendship 100" I think it would still be good to mention it since it's not something you normally see. I do not believe the crafted item he requests, that requires the Helmet to make, is part of the Item List; I believe it is a "key item" which I do not think is part of the trophy. If you do decide to make the item requested, be warned that Hagel will close his shop for about a week (although I found the events following the synthesis amusing).

6) It might be worth mentioning that only one Dragon will appear if you have not triggered Sterk's final events (or more specifically, Suni Sterm unlocking). The only Dragon that will be up will be the one in Night's Domain, the one guarding the path to the Demon boss. The others will only be around in their respective areas if Suni Sterm is available to you, I know that for a fact.

Oh, shoot I forgot. I figured I should also mention Meteors. I thought they were absolutely invaluable, and made my playthrough such a cakewalk. I honestly have no idea how Tera Bombs work; I was under the impression that they work fantastically against bosses, but I never made any, I relied exclusively on Meteors.

Do Tera Bombs hit everything? That is an actual question, no sarcasm lol I know Meteors do, and they hit for a truckload on normal monsters even with somewhat low quality effects (1 big star). Not only that but they're actually pretty easy to come by pretty early (again I have no idea when Tera Bombs become available) which may facilitate leveling.

I think the recipe itself is available early year 2 (from I think Hagel), but you can't actually make any until at least Ster Highlands opens, or at least that's the earliest you can make it (which will be either 5/15 or 6/15 during a Cole visit). If Hom is about level 25+ it should be able to harvest Star Pieces (any quality will do), so you can make one. If she is about that level, she should also bring back some Metal Ore, which turns into Silvatite. If you make a Silvatite bar and use it as the Ingot in the Meteor, the attack effect is more or less max'd (3 big stars), which is the effect "Falling ???" this does anywhere from ~400-800 damage, but it also has another minor attack effect for it's second part, doing anywhere from ~100-200. So total damage is anywhere from ~500-1200 damage, usually the lower end is how much it hits for on bosses.

Best part about it, it has 4 uses per item, I dunno if Tera Bomb has more than 1. So not only can you basically bring in 10 of these things and pretty much clear Orthogalaxen from floor 1-14 or so, if you ever run into any rocks blocking your path, it's a guaranteed clear of those as well, which will only consume 1 of their uses.

You can register and buy them from Hagel after his wholesale is unlocked, just like any other bomb. Only real downside is that they are decently pricey (usually around 650) however the front quests that ask for them will more than get your money back if you decide to turn one in (I think it was 1400 cole for 1),

Course, all of this is pretty irrelevant if I'm underestimating the Tera. Well I guess the only better part about it is the only material you want to shoot for is Silvatite, rest of the materials you use don't matter as much, so I suppose it's easier to make.

Thanks Happenstance, I'll see what needs to be changed once I'm doing some more edits this weekend if I have the time.

Assignment 2 trophy advice and tips.Is there a way to avoid an instant game over screen for not doing the assignment on time. This is a very good guide and not sure I have your permision to print it out.

This is why I advise you to make multiple saves so in case something goes wrong, you can go back to it. Are you too busy fulfilling Friendship Requests? If you make only Barrels for the Assignment, you shouldn't run into any trouble.

Print it if you wish, but its still incomplete. You might want to wait till its fully completed :o.

I always decided to finish up the assignment first and foremost. That way you just don't even have to think about it while you're out doing other things. I kind of learned that lesson the hard way though; when it comes to assignment 10 you need a lot of extra time to travel to the area, search for the item, and come back. I left it with almost 30 days left my first playthrough, which as it turns out was really bad, since I was also really underleveled.

But getting less than 3/10 stars for any assignment is always a Game Over, no matter what. If you're really that stretched for time and can't really manage Bread's suggested 8, you can still potentially go through without any issue...but it would require a bit more thought on your part. 12 assignments = 120 stars, but you only need 94+ (maybe 93+) to get True End. So you would be 5 down from the guide, but you can certainly make it up by doing better in the last year (although assignment 10 and 12 are decently difficult to get 10 stars in). So ultimately, you can manipulate it appropriately to whichever ending your shooting for, but it would stray from Bread's guide, and for maybe confusion's sake, you might not want to do.

I wouldn't even really suggest it myself, unless you're willing to accept any potential headaches. It gets a little mind-numbing to think about the management of your save files as is, even with Bread's guide.

It is just assignment 2 though, which isn't that difficult to get back to if you just want to start from scratch.

Oh Bread, I was just skimming through the guide once more and noticed some things with the ore/cloth list, near the bottom of the first page. I dunno if you've noticed it already, but you have a typo in the "Tanbeash" part. From what I can tell, Dragon Notsu is probably Dragon Tusk, since you don't have it listed and I know you get Halmolium from the higher quality ones. Marine light is probably Marinelite, which is an ore mostly found in Lost City, and I think Hom can get it in Orthogalaxen, can't quite remember though. Watching Grass Shadow might be Night Lady, since you don't have that listed but I know it makes Scale Cloth more often than not. Moonlight Flower might be Midnight Flower? Midnight usually goes Scale Cloth, and I'm pretty sure the other 2 rares from Night's Domain do as well (Dark Coral, Shadow Grass).

As for the Philosopher's Stone, honestly I have no inkling as to what that would be lol

Im having some trouble getting the RICH ENDING. i already had a million cole and i do not trigger any character flags starting on the last assignment. Sleep my way through the end having 98 stars and 100%town popularity. Lowered both gio and cordelia's friendship so i couldn't get their endings but still i always ended up with the generic true ending:mad: do i really need to start a new game and NOT TRIGGER ANY CHARACTER FLAGS AT ALL JUST TO GET THIS ENDING:confused:

Don't trigger any character flags and try and go for a Normal Ending instead.

I'm already on my second playthrough try and maybe I'm rushing. Why don't have enought money to go to a dungeon to find ingredients and level up? Thanks for the advice.

Question on the perfect Tera bomb, is there a good place or rather higher chance of getting +3 with those certain qualities per area? like is darkwoods better chance then say Ster Highlands or anything like that. Since i'm sure u can't just add +1's with each other when synthing :p

You are correct, you can find the +3 items by sending Hom to the Dark Woods. At least thats what I've been told.

If you're doing Front Requests for Esty and Character Quests every 4 days, you really can't run out of money.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been too happy with PSN back up. I'll do some updates within the next two days, which hopefully will have the guide completed 90%. :)
