Atlas
I'm getting this game for a pretty good price from a friend.. But I told him to hold on for a while 'cuz I thought about not being able to get online trophies if online wasn't active. So yeah, is it still good? CatNZ
take a look at the boosting thread, it'll give you a very good indication that it's still alive and kicking. I platted this within first few weeks of release, never touched it since... but while boosting other games, I keep on seeing other people who's still playing AC:B
DeadGurlsAreEasy
Sometimes you'll wait as long as 10 minutes for a game, but once you're in one it will continue for a long time. Don't worry about getting platinum; I only started a few days ago and i'm almost done. It's popular enough for that.

But I told him to hold on for a while 'cuz I thought about not being able to get online trophies if online wasn't active. So yeah, is it still good? Pretty much. The ACB community is still out there, but if you seriously plan on getting the platinum, you should hurry up a bit... because once Revelations is released, most people will jump over to that one. Manhunt is the one mode that still finds you a game within a few seconds. Wanted and Assassinate are getting a bit harder and Alliance, Chest Capture and Escort are almost dead. Azgard12
You'll find plenty of games. I'd start on the online as soon as you get the game and save the story for later, though. I don't think Brotherhood's online will die when Revelations comes out in 2-3 weeks, but it'll decrease.
Moving On
I don't think Brotherhood's online will die when Revelations comes out in 2-3 weeks, but it'll decrease. It's going to be interesting to see how ACR will affect ACB. From playing the Beta, I can definitely tell playing the ACR multiplayer requires a slightly different approach... and playing too much of the ACB multiplayer will hurt your ACR skills (and it's also true the other way around). My guess is there'll be two groups of players: one, a group that enjoys the ACR multiplayer and completely abandons ACB (save perhaps for some private matches to fool around), and two, a group that tries the ACR multiplayer, doesn't like the significant changes and goes back to ACB because they enjoy it more. All in all, there will still be a Brotherhood player base once Revelations is released, but I fully expect some of the less popular game modes will become truly dead. Azgard12
Well, I'm basing a lot of my guess on the fact that while the Revelations Beta was going on... ACB was very dead. I'm sure there'll still be people playing it, but I'd start on the online right off. I don't think much from story mode translates into multiplayer and visa versa, so might as well start on the one with an expiration date first. Wedge19
It's still fairly active, it's just a matter of getting people together who want to boost the Bonuses trophies. There are probably very very few people who got all the co-op bonuses in one match without boosting.
Napoleon1814
I have still been able to get into a game. It still seems pretty active. I would not count on this lasting after the Holidays though.

I agree. I'm going to boost the last few things I need and move on to Revelations.
LambzGoHard
Yeah, i wasn't gonna even attempt to play this game because of the online but i finished AC II and my mate lent me it straight away. I just need 4 more online trophies for the platinum. She took it back cuz her wee sis wanted to finish the story so i hope i get it back soon to get it done, then get the Da Vinci Disappearance. I would not count on this lasting after the Holidays though. Hopefully some will do like I plan. After getting platinum with AC:R will move back to AC:B online to finish it. With luck all lvl 50+ maniacs will be in AC:R so it would be even easier to score points and get the variety trophy...
Ric_Jack
The online is still quite active; Ive gone from level 22 to 34 in the past 5 days, and gained AEotM and Role Model trophies, so theres plenty of people still playing. And quite a few level 50s, too!

Myself, I keep getting killed by the lv50+ people over, and over, and over. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to give those guys those ridiculous unbalanced perks? Guns, poison darts, smoke bombs... And I have... A knife. It's like Ubisoft hates newbies or something.

Not sure if it was because of the time (still early in US) but when I later switched to 2.0 I've got more variety. - Level 50 people are just a PITA. I could manage to make some points sometimes but that was not worth it. Quit and rejoining I have got many more games with people at my level. Actually they could get a life, or better AC:R. - AC:B pays nothing compared to AC:R. But I still went from lvl 16 to 23 in 5 hours or so. I think team games pay more at then end. Still 5000+ points with challenges has been my highest. 4200 the ingame score. But I've got as low as 3-400 points... - I avoid Assassinate. That game makes no sense. Anytime I lock someone I am dead. Same when I try to stun. Maybe it's a lag problem. - If joining a session there are little or no people, just quit and retry. Waiting I never got connected. While the new session could start nearly immediately. Edited December 20, 2011 by Michelasso

It pays to have specific ability sets for the 2 different rounds. And I couldn't agree more - AC:R is SO much smoother. But then, I guess that would be expected... allsop1986
Online still seems pretty active to me. I've done 16 hours (95 sessions) according to the stats and leveled up to 32 mostly playing manhunt. Managed to get into or find a game quite quickly. And it seems there's still allot of new players as there's plenty of lower level players. Granted there's double the amount of higher levels to lower levels in a match. lol
LambzGoHard
I'll prob have the AC Revelations Platinum before the Brotherhood Platinum too tbh lol!

LukeyCow
Since early last year ive never been able to get into public games, private games i can Really? the game does have problems with certain people connecting and i here the same is with revelations. I could never get private matches with friends but could with randoms? I finished this in June or something but you do have to wait for games. Its not that its dead its just the servers, in december when i got it last year it still took a few minutes to get into games. I also found that the online gets a lot funner and easier when you get past lv 30 because youve unlocked all the good equipment and perks.
Lucca202
I was going to say this in the Trophy difficulty thread, but since I won't vote yet and nobody was going to read it, I'll post here instead. Finished all MP trophies yesterday. I still haven't done the single player trophies, but I don't expect them to be too hard. And since I boosted my way through most of the multiplayer trophies, I'd say it's a 3 or 4, tops. However, the servers are dying because of Revelations, and because the game itself is a bit old. There's still plenty of people now, but I expect them to leave some time after the holidays. And when servers do get empty and there is no more people to boost with, it will be impossible to get this platinum. Because of the way the game is played, it's impossible to get Role Model without boosting, not to mention bonuses like Extreme Variety and Intercepted. Also, with matches becoming scarce, getting to Lv50 will be really, really slow. In short: I advise people who haven't done these trophies yet to do them now, while there are a lot of people still boosting. Or else you might be stuck with an unobtainable plat later. =\
DPatriot
I would say its still quite active. Ever since i started playing it has taken tops 10 minutes to find a game.
alec613
I was planning to Buy another cheap copy of Assasins Creed Brotherhood to make boosting easy. But after seing I have to reach level 50 online. I don't even feel like playing Assasins Creed 2 and Brotherhood, which I bought a month ago (havent played yet) , anymore. how long does it usually take to get to Level 50? I may even have to skip Brotherhood and just play 2 and revelations
Cha0s00789
Getting to level 50 is not very long and kinda fun because of its unique gameplay . I'd say about 10 hours of online playtime
digiboy123
Yeah, what Cha0s said. After about 3 or 4 sessions, I had already gotten to rank 32. It's not hard at all. It's a big mind game.
