Thunderfury
GAHHH, I am so hyped for this! I want it NOW! When I saw the "you get captured" part, I was thinking "NOOOOOO", but you get free, so I'm happy now. 2 days though...wow, that is BAD news. Hopefully, Shepard doesn't screw up... Attack-Trik
Wow, I am so excited for this!! I'm excited to see more about what the Reaper artifact is as I bet that's gonna play a huge role even after what was mentioned in the article.
AegisAvenger
I don't like the idea of being alone without our squad and its doesn't seem that big of a DLC, especially when you can do it after Horizon...

BaldWombat
indeed. how is it supposed to bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3 if you can do it after horizon? LotSB bridged the gap between the 2 games and it was after Horizon. Basically it just needs to have a major plot point that explains why things are so different in the third game. That definitely explains why it was annoying even on casual, LOL Now, I don't suppose you'd know how to save the Batarian colonists?
IamCaboose
That part of the game can glitch. I had killed everyone in the room and I blew off the Ymir's head. When you do that, the Ymir is supposed to blow up in a Cain like explosion. It didn't blow up, and I ended up having to redo the entire fight. On Insanity. Oh joy. Maldron
I found a sweet spot on the left side with an L-shaped barrier that enemies refused to approach. I then just took my time. Snipe, Snipe, invisible out of cover for ammo, snipe... Anyway, sweet spot on the left side. Even on insanity, made it easy. Or at least survivable. BaldWombat
You will know that you did it right if you get a little cut scene of an energy pulse taking you out. Running and hiding on the left or right hand side seems to be the easiest way to deal with this as well.
Thunderfury
Of course, if you're using the Mattock, you'll end up running out of ammo, but it's not that hard to run out and grab some more. I had more trouble with the stealth mission than this one. Those items, they were calling to me. I set off a couple alarms that way, but a quick reload, and everything was fine. Do you have a vid of exactly where you went, I am having the hardest time with this? The stealth one I did basically on accident (I love Metal Gear, lol) but this one is killing me... Dell Boi
Am I to believe that the trophies are missible? So you could fail to survive 5 waves, then you'd be screwed unless you played on another character?

Maldron
Well, there's always the "restart mission" option. I don't really have access to any vid, no. I went to the left, I went up the stairs on the left, and near the far lefthand wall there was a barrier that I stayed behind for the whole fight. Thunderfury
That'll help the people having trouble, even though it's pretty easy. Nice job.

Thunder_At_Home
Am I to believe that the trophies are missible? So you could fail to survive 5 waves, then you'd be screwed unless you played on another character? Yes it is missable, you need to survive the entire sequence for the trophy to pop. After you defeat the mech at the end, the object should glow and the cut-scene will begin and the trophy will pop shortly after. Switch it to casual if you have difficulty and hang out on the opposite side where they appear, use the assault rifle and you'll be nailing them before they even finish the wave. Dell Boi
Okay so for someone who hasn't played it yet, could you advise when to make an auto-save to make sure I get both on the slim chance I slip up? (Without spoling too much .)
Thunderfury
For the stealth part, make a save right when you get back outside into the rain after going through the flames in the tunnels(NOTE: You'll probably have to go back inside the building to do that since guards are outside). For the fight, make a save when you're in the Project base for the first time. Walking from the shuttle to the artifact room is so short that you should make a save right when you get to the base. Hope my advice helps!

xhair
do you think the level of your character plays into the difficulty of the enemies again
Thunderfury
The stealth is stupidly easy, as long as you take it slow and look for the guards, you'll be able to avoid them no problem. And I think level does play into it, but from playing a level 28(1st save) Shepard on casual with everything upgraded, I couldn't really give an honest answer since I was 2-3 shot killing everything with the Mattock.
