Roadmap

The Platinum is now impossible due to the Mask Creator website being closed down. Servers have also been closed as of October 20th, 2022 so all online trophies are no longer obtainable.

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 7/10 (Platinum Difficulty Rating)
  • Offline trophies: 40 ( 30 (B), 7 (S), 2 (G), 1 (P))
  • Online trophies: 11 (8 (B), 3 (S))
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum: 25-35 hours
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 4-5
  • Number of missable trophies: 3
  • Glitched trophies: Yes, DIY PMC
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes, you have to start the game on Contractor (Hardest)
  • Do trophies stack?:
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: There are codes for "Big Head" and "Infinite Ammo" which turn off trophies

Walkthrough

STEP 1: Playthrough on Contractor difficulty + Collectibles + Good Morality Choices

The first thing you will need to do is play through the game on the hardest difficulty, Contractor, while going for all the collectibles, which include radios, neko cat statues and saving hostages. See The Truth is Right Here, Touch Not A Cat But A Glove, and Humanist respectively in the guide for each of these 3 collectibles.

Contractor isn't as hard as it sounds. It's actually quite easy so don't worry too much about it. Also, in this playthrough you will make all positive morality choices. See Purist in the guide for more info.

STEP 2: Cleanup Playthrough + Combat/Weapon Trophies

In this step you will go through the game once more (set it on any difficulty you like) and clean up any collectibles that you missed in your first playthrough. You will also get all miscellaneous trophies which include all combat/weapon trophies.

STEP 3: Easy playthrough + Negative Morality Choices

By this step you should have most of the offline trophies except for Heartless, The Pessimist, The Beast, and Future Visions. By the end of this step you will have all these trophies except for The Beast, which will be obtained in the following step. Play through the game on easy and make all negative morality choices. For info on negative morality choices see Heartless in the guide.

STEP 4: "The Beast" Trophy

This trophy requires you to get 6,666 cumulative kills in the campaign. Each playthrough nets you approximately 1400-1500 kills. By this step you should have about 4000+ kills (as you have completed 3 playthroughs). You will need about 2 more playthroughs before you reach the magic number.

STEP 5: Online trophies

In this final step you will acquire all online trophies. None of them are too difficult and will be obtained naturally as you play online. However, there are 2 quite annoying/time consuming trophies - Survival of the Fittest, and King of the Hill. These will take up most of your time while obtaining the online trophies. See both these trophies in the guide for details.

Self explanatory. Complete chapter 5 on any difficulty level for this trophy.

10.jpg  Meat Bag (B)

Use 15 enemies as human shields

To use an enemy as a human shield, sneak up behind them and press :l2: This will make your character grab the enemy and use him as a human shield against the enemies around you.

11.jpg  Chaaaaarge! (B)

Charge through 20 enemies

To charge through an enemy, run at full speed towards him, equipped with either any weapon or a riot shield. To run fast hold the :cross: button while moving. When charging, your character will hit your enemy with enough force that it will kill him. Once you charge through 20 enemies, this trophy is yours.

13.jpg  Grenadier (B)

Kill 3 or more enemies with a single grenade

To use a grenade press the :r2: button. Find a preferably large group of enemies and aim carefully with the grenade (try aiming for the middle of the group). To aim with the grenade hold down the :r2: button. An arc will show up once you do so. You can adjust the arc with the analog sticks (this will also adjust where the grenade will be thrown). Once you kill 3 enemies with a single grenade, this trophy is yours. Here's an easy and might I add, a cruel way of getting it on chapter 5.

14.jpg  Pistolier (B)

Kill 150 enemies with pistols

Self explanatory. Kill 150 enemies with pistols to earn this trophy. There are 3 pistols to choose from

-Type 77

-GI8C

-DE-0.44

I advise using the DE-0.44 (once you've unlocked it that is) as it kills the quickest. Otherwise you can try switching to your default pistol every now and then during the game and kill a few enemies. Which ever technique suits you. To check how many pistol kills you have done, press :start: and click on stats. Once you kill 150 enemies with pistols, this trophy is yours.

15.jpg  Old Faithful (B)

Kill 400 enemies with assault rifles, submachine guns or shotguns

All submachine gun kills, shotgun kills and assauslt rifle kills count towards this trophy. This trophy is one that is impossible to miss if you play through the entire campaign. It will come naturally as you progress.

16.jpg  One Shot, One Kill (B)

Kill 100 enemies with a sniper rifle

Self explanatory. Kill 100 enemies with a sniper rifle for this trophy. It's actually very easy as the snipers almost always kill regular enemies in 1-2 shots.

17.jpg  Quick Draw (B)

Kill 25 enemies with a quickdraw from mock surrender

A mock surrender is when your character "pretends" to surrender. To perform a mock surrender press :cross: when near a group of enemies who haven't seen you. Walk towards the enemies and pull out your pistol. This is known as a quickdraw. You must kill the enemy in one shot (head shot is best). Once you 'mock surrender' hold L1 to put your reticule on the enemies head. Once set, fire with R2. Kill 25 enemies using this technique and the trophy is yours. Thanks to rkylehiemenz for the tip.

18.jpg  Open Hand Slap! (B)

Kill 50 enemies with a melee or bayonet

To melee, press the :circle: button when next to an enemy. This will come naturally as you progress through the game if you regularly melee.

20.jpg  Not So Bad After All (B)

Tie up 15 enemy combatants instead of executing them

Throughout the game there will be instances where a group of 3 to 4 enemies will be guarding a few hostages. To save the hostages you will have to grab the commander of the group of enemies (recognized by his heavy armor). The other enemies will thereafter surrender and you will have a choice of either tying them up (:cross:) or executing them (:circle:). Tie up 15 of them in total and this trophy is yours. This also adds to your good morale.

21.jpg  Healer (B)

Heal your partner 10 times

When your partner gets damaged enough, he will enter a sort of "last stand" mode, where you will have a limited time to live. During this short period of time you can heal your partner or risk restarting from the last checkpoint as he will die. To heal him, go up to him and press and hold :cross:

22.jpg  Co-Op Sniper (B)

Co-op snipe 5 enemies

Throughout the game their will be instances where some hostages will be unreachable (for example across a broken bridge) or when you will have to take out two enemies simultaneously in order to complete an objective. To do this, switch to your sniper (:triangle:) and aim at one of the two enemies you need to take out. To initiate the co-op snipe, simply shoot the enemy you're aiming at and your partner (unless you're playing split-screen so-op) will automatically shoot the other enemy. The co-op snipe sequence will then be complete. Once you co-op snipe 5 enemies, this trophy will be yours. Note that only the enemy you shoot will count towards this trophy.

Another way of doing this is; If you are playing with another person, as opposed to AI, and you both have a scoped weapon/sniper rifle out at the same time and are using it, it will count as co-op sniping as well. You don't have to hit 'X' for the countdown either. Just both partners continue killing with the sniper rifles simultaneously and it will pop up. Thanks to rkylehiemenz for the tip.

23.jpg  Attention Grabber (B)

Allow your partner to snipe 5 guys while in mock surrender

A mock surrender is when your character "pretends" to surrender. To perform a mock surrender press :cross: when near a group of enemies who haven't seen you. This is easier done while you are playing with a co-op partner and not the AI as the AI tends to advance instead of sniping. While you are in mock surrender, your partner will have to use his sniper to take the enemies around you. Once he accumulates a total of 5 enemies sniped while you are in mock surrender, YOU will have this trophy.

24.jpg  In Synch (B)

Kill two enemies with simultaneous quick draws while in co-op mock surrender

This is almost identical to "Quick Draw" but for this both you and your co-op partner will have to simultaneously kill one enemy each with one shot (headshot preferably) while in mock surrender. See "Quick Draw" for a definition of what mock surrender is. This can be very tricky so I suggest having an offline co-op partner and not an online one as it is easier to communicate. Here's an easy way of doing it on chapter 4.

Credit for this video goes to XBOXvideoGUIDEScom.

25.jpg  Pumpkin Patch (B)

Shoot 2 enemies in the head with a single bullet

Not as hard as it sounds. Either use a shotgun or a sniper rifle for this. I used a shotgun though. Wait till 2 enemies' heads are lined up and take your shot. This trophy will then be yours. Here's an easy way of doing it on chapter 3.

27.jpg  Total Fist Bump Destruction (B)

Finish the game as best friends

For this trophy, your friendship or partnership level has to be ambiguous by the end of the game. An easy way of doing this is, right before you plant the C4 near the ending of the final chapter "thank" your partner 10 times by pressing the :cross: button when next to him. After doing so, plant the C4, kill JONAS, do not kill your partner, and this trophy will be yours. Thanks to Leicester_Lad_93 for this tip.

28.jpg  Total Fist Bump Deflation (B)

Finish the game in a fractured friendship

For this trophy, your friendship or partnership level has to be hateful by the end of the game. An easy way of doing this is, right before you plant the C4 near the ending of the final chapter "hit" your partner 10 times by pressing the :circle: button when next to him. After doing so, plant the C4, kill your partner, do not kill JONAS, and this trophy will be yours. Thanks to Leicester_Lad_93 for this tip.

29.jpg  The Truth Is Right Here (B)

Listen to all of the radio broadcasts

In each of the 7 levels in the game you will encounter little radios. You will have to collect all of them for this trophy. There are 14 in total. Here's a list of the number of radios in each level.

Level 1 (Shanghai Streets) - 3 Radios

Level 2 (In Case of Fire) - 2 radios

Level 3 (The Zoo) - 2 Radios

Level 4 (Hospital) - 2 Radios

Level 5 (The Mall) - 2 Radios

Level 6 (Shanghai Bund) - 2 Radios

Level 7 (Chinese Temple) - 1 Radio

Here is an image of what the radio looks like:

See Touch Not A Cat But A Glove for a video Guide to the location of every Radio.

30.jpg  Loot and Pillage (B)

Collect $1,000,000

Not as hard as it sounds. You earn money for almost everything you do. Killing enemies, activating beacons, stealing weapons from enemy supply crates etc. It is not difficult at all to obtain this trophy.

33.jpg  Hate Monger (B)

Customize a primary weapon to high aggro

Note that the weapon's aggro does not have to be full. It just has to be high. I recommend you customize your weapon till the aggro is one or two bars away from full. I recommend that you start off with a weapon that already has a considerably high aggro.

35.jpg  The Optimist (B)

Make a positive coop morality choice

Throughout the game, there will be instances when you will have to make choices to do or not to do specific things. For example you get an order to execute a specific person and you decline. That will count as a positive morality choice. You will have one morality choice in each level. Once you make your first positive morality choice, you will have this trophy.

NOTE: If you are going for the "The Purist" trophy, make sure all your choices are positive ones throughout the game otherwise you will have to restart the game.

36.jpg  The Pessimist (B)

Make a negative coop choice

Throughout the game, there will be instances when you will have to make choices to do or not to do specific things. For example you get an order to execute a specific person and you accept. That will count as a negative morality choice. You will have one morality choice in each level. Once you make your first negative morality choice, you will have this trophy.

NOTE: If you are going for the "Heartless" trophy, make sure all your choices are negative ones throughout the game otherwise you will have to restart the game.

40.jpg  Fresh Meat (B)

Versus: Revive your partner and perform a partner reload during the same public match

Unobtainable due to server shutdown

When your partner is damaged enough, he will enter a "last stand" mode. To revive him, walk up to him and press the :square: button. To perform a partner reload you have to be completely out of ammo, which includes grenades. Once you have no ammo whatsoever, walk to your partners back and press the :square: button. Perform both of these maneuvers in the same match and this trophy is yours.

41.jpg  Fancy Meeting You Here (B)

Versus: Invite a friend before joining a lobby to play a public match

Unobtainable due to server shutdown

To invite a friend, while in the versus menu press the :triangle: button and select a friend from your friend list to invite. Once he joins, join a quick match of any game mode with him/her and the trophy will pop up once you enter the match.

42.jpg  Big Game Hunting (B)

Versus: Kill both members of a single partnership during a public match

Unobtainable due to server shutdown

A partnership consists of two players who are working together to kill other players in partnerships. These can be seen most commonly in Co-op team deathmatches. Check the leaderboards and you should see groups of two people whose names are closely packed together. Target one of those groups and try killing both of the people in that partnership. Once this is done, this trophy is yours.

43.jpg  Job Seeker (B)

Versus: In public matches, kill a player with either the primary or secondary weapon from every weapon kit

Unobtainable due to server shutdown

Simply get one kill with the primary or if you prefer secondary weapon from each of the weapon kits and this trophy is yours. Make sure you get the full 5 points for the kill, which means that after downing the enemy (which nets you 4 points) finish him off while he is on his last stand for the last extra point. This will count as a full kill.

44.jpg  DIY PMC (B)

Versus: Create a custom facemask online (http://www.armyoftwo.com) and wear it in a public match

Unobtainable due to website closure and server shutdown

For this trophy, you will have to go to armyoftwo.com, create a custom mask, connect and send it to your game, then wear it in a public match (any game type will do). Here is a link to an excellent step by step guide made by Tailz over at our sister site showing you how to go about creating your mask and sending it to your game.

Create a Mask Achievement Guide

45.jpg  Death Dealer (B)

Versus: Kill 10 players with headshots on a single map in a public match

Unobtainable due to server shutdown

Self explanatory. Use a high accuracy assault rifle like the SCAR-L or a sniper rifle and go for the heads of your foes. After you successfully kill 10 enemies with headshots, this trophy is yours.

46.jpg  Power Couple (B)

Versus: Earn the highest partnership score in a Co-op Deathmatch, Control or Warzone public match

Unobtainable due to server shutdown

In each of these 3 game modes you are assigned a random partner. You and your partner both have to work together and earn points. These points are earned from killing or capturing areas. Both you and your partners points are added together to make up your partnership score. Have the highest partnership score in any 1 of the 3 game modes mentioned and this trophy is yours.

47.jpg  All Guns Blazing (B)

Versus: Kill a player with every weapon, including special weapons, in public matches

Unobtainable due to server shutdown

For this trophy you have to have at least one kill with each of the weapons which includes, all available pistols, assault rifles, LMG's, sniper rifles AND grenades online in public matches. The special weapons include the RPG and the Grenade Laucher. You find the RPG randomly within co-op team deathmatches and the Grenade launcher is given to you when you are VIP in warzone. Thanks to billgolden78 for the info. Make sure you get the full 5 points for the kill otherwise it will not count.

07.jpg  Survivor? (S)

Complete the game on any difficulty level

Self explanatory. Complete all of the 7 chapters on any difficulty level in order to obtain this trophy.

08.jpg  Softcore (S)

Complete half the game on hardest difficulty

This trophy will unlock towards the end of the 3rd chapter (The Zoo) when playing through the campaign on the hardest difficulty - Contractor. See the Hardcore trophy for tips.

19.jpg  Unbreakable (S)

Survive an entire level without needing to be revived on normal difficulty or above

Self explanatory. Your character will enter a "last stand" kind of mode once his health goes low enough and will need to be revived by your partner in order for you to stay alive. I recommend playing on normal as it's easier, on Level 1. Cover whenever you can, play tactically, but above all, stay alive!

31.jpg  Full Arsenal (S)

Collect all weapons and weapon parts

You will need to collect every weapon and weapon part to get this trophy, which includes all primary, secondary and special weapons. Some will be found in enemy supply crates (one or two per chapter). The rest have to be purchased. Attachments that you need to get for this trophy are suppressors, metal plates, stocks, barrels and cartridges. You do not need to purchase styles or camouflages for this trophy. The amount of money you need altogether to purchase everything will come close to around $1.8 million, so be prepared to replay levels a lot. I suggest choosing levels with the most hostages as each time you save a hostage you obtain roughly $15000-20000. See Touch Not A Cat But A Glove for a Video Guide to the findable Weapon Parts.

32.jpg  Touch Not A Cat But A Glove (S)

Shoot all Maneki Neko cats in the game

In each of the 7 levels in the game you will encounter little golden cat-like statues. You will have to destroy (by shooting at them) all of them for this trophy. There are 12 in total. Here's a list of the number of Neko cat statues in each level.

Level 1 (Shanghai Streets) - 2

Level 2 (In Case of Fire) - 2

Level 3 (The Zoo) - 2

Level 4 (Hospital) - 2

Level 5 (The Mall) - 2

Level 6 (Shanghai Bund) - 1

Level 7 (Chinese Temple) - 1

Here's what a Neko Cat Statue looks like:

O6htlpe.png

Here's a video guide to all the Radios, Weapon Parts and Neko Cat statues in the game (see The Truth is Right Here to see what a radio looks like):

38.jpg  Humanist (S)

Save every hostage

MISSABLE

Throughout the game there will be instances where a group of 3 to 4 of enemies will be guarding a few hostages. To save the hostages you will have to grab the commander of the group of enemies (recognized by his heavy armor). The other enemies will thereafter surrender and you will have a choice of either tying them up (:cross:) or executing them (:circle:) You then have to walk up to the hostage(s) and press :cross: to officially save them. There are 3 hidden hostages however that are easily missable.

1) There is 1 hidden hostage on chapter 2. By hidden I mean, you will not get a cut scene or an objective for him and it will not show in the mission summary at the end. He's in a room on the bottom floor where you kick open the door and directly in front of you is an enemy looking at him. he's sitting against a pillar across from the door you come in. You have to go up to him and tap :cross: to save him.

2) There is also a hostage on chapter 3, after you rescue the zoo keeper and he opens the gate. There will be 6 guys standing around him. You have to go up to him and hit :cross: to save him but its not an objective.

3) And the final hidden hostage is on chapter 4 in the hospital. After you save the first hostage in the hospital, walk back through the door to this room and a guy comes stumbling through a door followed by an enemy. Kill the enemy and press :cross: on the hostage to save him.

Credit to |||epic||| from our sister site for the list.

You must save every hostage in one playthrough without reloading a checkpoint, otherwise you'll have to do an extra playthrough.

39.jpg  Future Visions (S)

Unlock all potential futures

For this trophy you have to make all the positive and negative moral choices in the game. I recommend you go through the game once sticking to either only positive or negative moral choices and after completing the game, reloading the checkpoints and making the opposite moral choices. There are altogether 13 possible moral choices in the game. There is 1 moral choice in each chapter except for chapter 6, having none and chapter 7 having 3. Here's a list of all the possible moral choices in the game:

Level 1

Positive morality: SPARE JB

Negative morality: EXECUTE JB

Level 2

Positive morality: RETURN THE WEAPONS

Negative morality: TAKE THE WEAPONS

Level 3

Positive morality: REFUSE TO SHOOT THE TIGER

Negative morality: SHOOT THE TIGER

Level 4

Positive morality: TELL THE KID TO STAY

Negative morality: TELL THE KID TO GO FOR THE GUN

Level 5

Positive morality: STOP BREZNEV

Negative morality: TAKE THE BRIBE OF $7,5000

Level 7

Positive morality: SHOOT YOUR PARTNER (then switch partners, reload the checkpoint and shoot the other again)

Negative morality: SHOOT JONAH

48.jpg  Bound For Life (S)

Versus: In a public match, survive an entire Extraction map without suffering a single death on your team

For info about what extraction is, see "Survival of the Fittest". The 16 rounds are divided into maps, each containing 4 rounds until you move on to a new map. You have to survive all 4 rounds of any one of the maps. 4 out of the 6 maps listed in "King of the Hill" will be included in your extraction game.

49.jpg  King Of The Hill (S)

Versus: Win a public match on every map in Co-op Deathmatch, Control and Warzone

You must win a match on each of the 6 maps listed below in all 3 game types to get this trophy

-Aftermath

-Vertigo

-Consulate

-Crossroads

-Zoo

-Temple

If you need help finding good, reliable partners you can use the CO-OP Buddies thread found HERE.

50.jpg  Survival Of The Fittest (S)

Versus: Complete all 16 rounds of an Extraction game in a public match

Extraction is a game mode where there are 16 rounds which you and your 3 partners have to survive. Each round consists of waves of enemies. There are about 40-70 enemies in a round depending on which round you are on. These 16 rounds are divided into maps, each containing 4 rounds until you move on to a new map. 4 out of the 6 maps listed in "King of the Hill" will be included in your extraction game. Now for this trophy you must play through ALL 16 rounds from START TO FINISH. You can NOT join in the middle of the 16th round to get this trophy. You will also need an estimate of about 2-3 hours of free time as 16 rounds can take quite a while. The rounds will become increasingly difficult. I suggest you have dedicated and good team mates, otherwise it will become frustrating.

If you need help finding good, reliable partners you can use the CO-OP Buddies thread found HERE.

09.jpg  Hardcore (G)

Complete the game on the hardest difficulty

As it states, complete the game on the hardest difficulty - Contractor. Here are some useful tips. All four of the directional buttons gives a unique command to your partner. Use these commands to your advantage and tactfully go through each of the level. The  directional button orders your partner to advance as in move forward, towards the enemies, the :left: directional button orders your partner to regroup with you. The  enables you see what your partner sees. This can be very useful while sniping or when he is in trouble as you'll know where the enemies are. The :right: directional button orders your partner to hold his position, as in he'll stay in one place unless and until you order him to advance. Covering near objects is vital. To cover simply walk towards an object and stop moving. Your character will automatically take cover. Crouching is also important. To crouch press :l3: To put it to perspective, playing on the hardest difficulty in this game is a lot like playing Call of Duty: World at War on hard. What I'm trying to say is that it is not too difficult, just frustrating sometimes.

Here's a list of all the more armored or special enemies and how to defeat them.

1. Heavily armored shotgun enemies

To defeat them, go for the head. Once you shoot his head enough, his helmet will pop off and a few more shots to the head will kill him

2. Heavily armored grenade launcher enemies

To defeat them , you have to shoot at the ammo packs they are carrying. As the packs contain grenade (for their grenade launchers), when you shoot them they will explode and cause significant damage to him. I believe there are 3 ammo packs and you have to shoot all of them.

3. Heavily armored flamethrower enemies

To defeat them, shoot the gas tanks on their backs. This will cause them to explode and will cause significant damage to them. There is only one gas tank on his back and it's not too easy to penetrate it. You have to flank around him till you have a clear shot at the gas tank on his back. Once you have a clear shot, go crazy with either your shotgun or your machine gun. After the tank has been destroyed he'll be dead.

4. Heavily armored gatling gun enemies

To defeat them, you have to shoot their backpacks which carries the gatling gun ammo. Let your partner take all the aggro or attention and flank around the enemy until you have a clear shot at the backpack. Unload one magazine's worth of machine gun bullets on it until it explodes. He's dead now.

12.jpg  The Beast (G)

Kill 6,666 people in Campaign

As it states, you will have to reach a total of 6,666 enemies killed in campaign. Do not be alarmed though, as after you complete the game you can use chapter select to complete any level of your choice and add to the number of killed enemies. The best place to farm kills for this trophy is the crane section of chapter 2 (Thanks to billgolden78 for the tip). All types of kills count towards this trophy. It will take 5-7 playthroughs in total ( if you choose to play through the entire game instead of farming kills). It does involve a bit of grinding but those who enjoy the game will find it to be quite easy.

Secret Trophies

26.jpg  Rock, Paper, Scissors (B)(H)

Beat your partner at rock, paper, scissors 3 times in a row

To play rock, paper, scissors with your partner, walk up to him and press :triangle: The , :right:, and :left: directional buttons are what you will use to select your "weapon of choice" - rock, paper, or scissors. Then, it's simply a matter of luck. Win 3 times in a row and this trophy is yours.

34.jpg  Scavenger (B)(H)

Build a gun using 3 homebrew parts

Homebrew parts are those parts which appear to be "home-made" like the soda can silencer, the metal plate and the rusty stock. Here's an easy way of doing it. Select the SCAR-L and put all 3 of these parts on the gun and confirm the changes. Then, the trophy will be yours.

51.jpg  Purist (B)(H)

Make only positive choices

Throughout the game, there will be instances when you will have to make choices to do or not to do specific things. For example you get an order to execute a specific person and you decline. That will count as a positive morality choice. You will have one morality choice in each level. For this trophy you will have to make positive morality choices in all the levels.

NOTE: If you do screw some of your morality choices up, you can reload checkpoints and make the correct morality choices. Thanks to billygolden78 for the info.

Tip on 'Quick Draw' - You must kill the enemy in one shot (head shot is best). Once you 'mock surrender' hold L1 to put your reticule on the enemies head. Once set, fire with R2.

This is the same for the Co-Op Mock surrender, except both you and your partner must fire almost simultaneously with a one shot (head shot) kill.

Also, as far as formatting for your guide - instead of just going in order of Bronze, Silver Gold (as the trophies are listed on the site) - you should separate the Multi-Player trophies out in their own category, and start with just the Story Mode trophies (including the 4 secret) at the top of the guide. I think it will be easier for people to follow along with whichever format they are playing at the time, less sifting through with ctrl+f. Just a thought. Otherwise, congrats on getting this underway.

I would love to sort them out in that way but the rules of the guide faq state that I must put them in order of the trophy list as it is seen on the main page of the site. As far the info you gave me is concerned....thankyou :) I'll add it in.

Tip: Co-Op snipe does not have to be initiated that way. If you are playing with another person, as opposed to AI, and you both have a scoped weapon/sniper rifle out at the same time and are using it, it will count as co-op sniping as well. You don't have to hit 'X' for the countdown either. Just both partners continue killing with the sniper rifles simultaneously and it will pop up. I got mine accidentally cause my friend was using a sniper rifle and I had a 3X scope on the G36C and we were just shooting enemies, then bling! Trophy!

Oh and the site's trophy page as well as your guide has the wrong trophy image for "Pessimist" - make a negative moral choice. It's supposed to Be an 'X' just like the icon for "Heartless" but without the '+' sign. Not sure how I pull the icon off of Playstation.com and post it here, but thought I'd just point that out.

I got both Grenadier and Pumpkin Patch in the first Chapter. During the first Civilian rescue after you tie up the 3 soldiers just toss a grenade in the middle of them. Then just reload from checkpoint and when the two soldiers get down on their knees line up your sniper and shoot them both in the head. You will probably kill the civilians with both of these, so reload again.

Also, I only had about 5 quick draw kills after my first playthrough. So I farmed Quick Draw on Chapter 3. After you rescue the zoo keeper, you will enter a small room and when you come out there are 6 guys around a Civilian. Just kill one in mock surrender and then reload checkpoint.

Ok I want to chip in about the survival of the fittest trophy since I just got it.

I don't have the code but I managed to join a match using the game browser. There was only 1 guy in there and he was at round 12 or 13, don't remember exactly. He then left not long after so I became host automatically.

I waited for other randoms to join in and we ended up finishing everything until round 16. The match restarted again at round 1 while people come and go throughout. Me and this other guy stuck all the way through and we managed to beat round 16 again.

Now this is the interesting part. When we beat round 16, I was dead so I was worried that I wouldn't get the trophy. But when the game loads the victory screen, the trophy popped. So for those wondering the same thing, yes you may be dead when round 16 is finished as long as you're in the match from before round 1 started. Hope that helps whoever is still going for this trophy.

Now I just need to grind 4000 more kills to platinum! :applause:

The In Sync trophy is glitchy.

I'm on chapter 2 where it first tells you how to mock surrender. My partner was AI controlled and we both shot at exactly the same time (both 1 shot kill headshots) and I didn't get the trophy.

The Untouchable trophy is stupid as well, turns out you can't restart checkpoint either otherwise the trophy doesn't pop up.

I wouldn't call that stupid... it kind of makes sense (I do like the concept of actually earning trophies, as opposed to just getting them for playing as I would typically play). Just play the first level on normal and make sure to do the whole thing in one careful runthrough.

I think you misunderstand me... I played through on hard without any deaths but I restarted a checkpoint to save a hostage that got killed.

So no deaths didn't get me the trophy, therefore its stupid.

Full Arsenal

Collect all weapons and weapon parts

How do I do this? does it require 2 playthroughs? I went through and did All positive choices, now i'm going through to get all negative and im gonna kill all hostages(maybe not trophy related but meh will be fun in a evil way lol) Will this net me the rest? I have 4 weapons total that didnt unlock and a handful of parts.

that would make it too easy cuz when someone was low on health and about to die they could restart checkpoint. Therefore it's not stupid at all. PLus your AI partner can go down as long as you don't and u get him up b4 he dies. I got it this way, the heavy at the end of 1 got him down , I killed the heavy and revived him but still got the trophy

  • 1 Playthrough making all positive moral choices, therefore unlocking a great deal of weapons
  • 1 Playthrough making all negative moral choices, also unlocking a few weapons
  • Saving all of the hostages, unlocking a gun or two plus a couple parts
  • Picking up all (14 I think??) weapon parts on all of the levels
  • Buy all of the weapons and weapon parts for every single gun. Color schemes do NOT count toward this, don't worry about them.

Also the Grand Pinger and the one bad-ass assault rifle (forget the name) don't count towards this either. Only way to get those is with the original Ao2 gamesave.
