MrSoKoLoV
So this topic is for all the people who finnished it. Therefore you shouldn't read any further if you want to play the game, because there will be spoilers coming up. 1) [spoiler=bioshock 2story]Is it me, or was the game less fun than the first one? I found the first one brilliant. The story and the city. But mostly the characters. A spliced up mental doctor Steinman who wants to make everyone beautiful. Sander Cohen with is special artwork, Fontaine tricking you with his Atlas character. Ryan who wants to destroy his own work before letting anyone have it and asking you to kill him later. I mean, this game doesn't really have something like that. You have a crazy priest, nothing more than that. His brother who wants to earn more money. Grace who wants to protect Eleanor and Lamb who wants to kill you badly. 2) [spoiler=bioshock2scary]Is wasn't scary at all. Bioshock 1 scared the sh*t out of me some moments in the game. And many place where dark and freaky. Cohen with his living artwork and things like that. Fontaine who kills you slowly with the programmed phrases and such. Didn't had that in this game, wasn't scared at all. 3) [spoiler=MMeltzer]What happened to Mark Meltzer? Maybe I didn't followed the game correctly, but I didn't found him alive or dead. And what happened to Cindy, his daughter? 4) [spoiler=SinclairEnd]The end of Sinclair was totally lame. Sorry, but that's how I find it. He helps you the entire way, you except betrail or escaping with him or something like that. And he gets captured (don't know how) and has to be killed, no other option besides that. 5) [spoiler=CohenSander]Sander Cohen didn't appear in this game. What means that he disappeared or was killed, no matter what you did in the first game. Don't understand this, except if they will make another Bioshock with him it. 6) [spoiler=DeltaEnd]Am I wrong if I say Delta gets killed in the end when he is topside. Or did he just faint or something like that? And why is Eleanor alive if she is killed by Lamb with the pillow. Blam-Blam-Kerpow
[spoiler=Unique ID]What happened to Tenenbaum? She couldn't leave Rapture 'cause of Lamb. You take care of Lamb and? What? Leave her there? She had a couple of rescued little sisters with her too. Unless I missed something Delta just flipped her the bird and left, just to get the life sucked out of him by the daughter you've tried to save through the entire game. Seems like all endings are kind of bad endings to Delta. The fact that Eleanor keeps all his ADAM/memories with her doesn't do shit for him. That sucks. And yeah, to answer question 6. Eleanors heart was stopped long enough to affect Delta, then they apparently revived her when they had him caught. Then as stated above, I have no clue as to why Delta collapses when they're topside. Eleanor sucks the ADAM out of him and muses about how his memories will guide her through her life as a superhuman in the world above. To Delta as a character I guess it's reward enough to see his daughter safe and sound but it sure as hell isn't to me as the player. And one of my own: [spoiler=1]Is Gil Alexander, if you save him, going to be a new part of the maritime life in the area? Will he really "live outside" -like he screams to you? A huge ADAM infused penis swimming around telling fish they're fired, that's a whole load of nightmares right there. Blam-Blam-Kerpow
Oh yeah! For number 3: [spoiler=2]I believe I got a diary where Meltzer is captured and offered to become a Big Daddy to be with his daughter or die. PoorPaddy89
Okay, here's my answers 1)[spoiler=paddy1a]Personally I thought it was fantastic! I agree wholeheartedly that the story was not as good and the characters were not as original, but that's the curse of the sequel. I loved the gathering gameplay with the little sisters, who i found to be incredibly cute despite their 'zombie' status. I don't think I will ever see their 'harvest' animation because I just can't bring myself to press . 2)[spoiler=paddy2a]I don't like scary games s had to get a mate to confirm the first BioShock wasn't scary. Which it wasn't. Both games are creepy though, although again I agree the first one is more so with the brilliant characters. And also, second time around we kinda know what to expect so it naturally isn't going to be as freaky as the first game. 3)[spoiler=paddy3a]As 'Blam' said above (but I'll repeat it because of the spoiler fail ), when you kill one of the Big Daddies in Fontaine Futuristics he has an audio diary on him which reveals Lamb turned him into a Big Daddy so that he could be with his daughter forever. So basically you killed him. You bastard . 4)[spoiler=paddy4a]I know what you mean, but I think they wanted to make sure know one thought they were gonna pull another Fontaine plotline with him. He needed to be different. 5)[spoiler=paddy5a]Don't you have to kill Cohen in the first game either way? You either kill him in his gallery, or if you leave him doesn't he come back and start attacking in his apartment if I remember right. 6)[spoiler=paddy6a]Delta dies on the way up (one would guess his brain exploded from the pressure ). But he kinda lives on 'through Eleanor' when she extracts his blood/ADAM. And Lmb just stopped Eleanor's heart for a while rather than killing her outright. Hope that helps
