Twig1
Is there a hidden difficulty level you unlock? Does it matter what difficulty you play on to unlock the hidden level if there is one?
sdreaper
No extra unlockable difficulty. Playing on hard will give oyu the trophies for hard/normal/easy all at once, otherwise it would require multiple playthroughs.
T3quilaSlay3r
BTW is hard difficulty really hard? I'm thinking about starting it right away hard so that the game is more enjoyable...I started also bioshock on hard right away because of the frightening story and I heard that it was really easy on normal...Is it frustatingly hard? dougatt
I wouldn't say hard is overly frustrating. Of course I'm not very far into it yet. You definitely have to focus more on stealth and hit and run tactics for guys with guns on hard.

Agreed, so long as you are willing to play stealth instead of a usual "run and gun" fashion then you will be fine. Otherwise, full health and 3 blasts from a guy with a gun and you are toast. Their aim is quite good too.

I'm about 4 hours in on Hard and I don't find it too difficult. I've only died a few times. You just gotta be patient and plan your moves ahead so you don't get shot at by enemies. laoeolal
Do you know if the Difficulty of the game impacts the difficulty of the challenge rooms? Or as in Prototype, the challenge are always the same whatever the difficulty level. Thanks.
Yendig
I want to play the game like the first Splinter Cell, sounds like hard will be good for that.

In challenge modes its always same, I play on hard and when in challenge mode I get the attack indicator which isnt there when you play hard. Not all the floors are on at the same time if the inmates start running to one of the floors follow them.
Bobbob
Completed it on hard last night for my plat, took me 3 evenings total, mainly played with sound off while watching bbc iplayer . I didn't find it too hard, the stealth bits are harder, but if you plan ahead, you should be ok. Once you get into the further on stealth bits, I'd reccomend using the batclaw to pull enemies towards you and over barriers/down stairs etc to knock them out, its the easiest way of taking them out and not being seen. Also i'd suggest trying to pick up any riddlers trophies and things along the way for the extra exp, just because it regens your hp, and also gives you more exp for upgrades. By the time I finished I had all but 2 upgrades to go and face joker with.
