purifico
That's a video shown on Microsoft conference and it demonstrates how Kinect will be used to make your experience with Mass Effect 3 more "emotionally engaging" Mass Effect 3 Gets More Tactical and Conversational with Kinect /discuss
xTSx Kezza
yeah but im sure sony will have voice incorporated somewhere dont forget PS3 camera is a mic also so i cant see why u cant use that to do the same thing as kinect, but definitely looking forward to mass effect 3 voice activated or not
Lemegeton300
the voice activation really does not mean anything to me. it is impressive tech but i just dont see gamers shouting orders to their teammates in the middle of a firefight. the joypad will always be better for this kind of thing
Attack-Trik
The voice commands were cool to see and pretty well implemented, especially since I was pretty skeptical when I heard ME3 was Kinect-able. Much more excited about the actual gameplay footage though. Sheppard's melee attack looked really cool. Plus who was that warning Sheppard at about 3:47 on the radio? Definitely sounds Krogan-ish but I couldn't tell if it was Wrex or someone else we know.

purifico
Omni-tool blade is cool, but I get the feeling that it won't be any different from a generic punch Shepard delivered to his enemies in previous games. I also didn't like the fact that Mordin has a different voice actor it seems =( And - OMG - we finally get to see krogan females! Yay!

He sounded a little different but I couldn't say for sure it was someone else. Like I said above though, I'd really like to figure out who Shepard is talking to over the radio. It could've been Wrex but I'm not sure. EDIT: Just watched another gameplay video on the GTTV feed and that's definitely Wrex over the radio :-) Edited June 7, 2011 by Attack-Trik
OceanH
Mordin didn't had a different voice; it's the exact same voice when they showcased it during Microsoft's Press Conference when he meets Shepard.

Can't put my finger on it, so I assumed that they've changed a voice actor. We'll see when the game comes out.

Attack-Trik
I hope Sony has the voice control. Sony could potentially do it. It's not like voice control is anything new or exclusive to Kinect.
