best drifting setup

I've just started trying the drifting events. I'm using that low powered Drift Alliance car they give you, which I guess you can't modify in any way. Using the Driving Force GT wheel, I find it works best (using the simplified tuning mode) to set it for maximum understeer and maximum downforce. That helps to counteract the car's tendency to spin out all the time. I managed to get a second place in that first event at Miami. I always play on elite handling, but switch it to easy for drifting. I don't know if that makes a difference, I'll have to experiment around more.

I need to practice a lot more, but I'm just not too interested in drifting and get sick of it pretty quickly.

since my last post on this i have tried many different setups but by far the supra with the works is the way to go for drifting. all you have to do is have ur shifting on manual and leave it in 2nd gear for every race. i have no tuning on my supra it is all just rear wheel power.
