Fugitives


Each stage in the game contains a fugitive. A fugitive will not spawn until the clock hits two minutes. For the majority of them, there is no official time limit, but if you take too long, it will not spawn. This limit is usually 3-4 minutes. I would recommend equipping Hot Spring prior to the battle to start the battle with a full hero time gauge. This is because fugitives like to block until they flee and activating hero time with will make it easier to break through. Sometimes the fugitives are slightly temperamental, if three minutes have passed, you have fulfilled the requirements and the fugitive has not spawned, reload the stage.

Below is a list of stages and how to spawn the fugitive:


Mount Osore (Attack)
Seize all camps within two minutes/The fugitive will appear after two minutes.

This fugitive was temperamental for me. All times but one, it would only spawn if I seized all camps within two minutes. For the other, it appeared shortly after two minutes.

Sometimes the Fugitive will appear on a ledge that can only be accessed by a hidden path. This can be accessed by jumping up to a ledge near the area and flinging yourself with the catapult. This will take you to a new path, run to the end and there will be another catapult. Fling yourself again and you’ll land next to the fugitive.

Dragon Race at Oshu (Defence)
Seize the first camp to open the gate.

Siege of Hasedo Castle (Luck)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Headstrong at Kubota (Attack)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Battle of Kannagawa (Luck)
Defeat the Tiger and Tiger Handler to open the gate.

Kawanakajima Tundra (Luck)
Defeat Keiji(First Time) and Kanetsugu(?)/Defeat Keiji or Kasuga within three minutes.

Defeat Keiji or Kasuga within three minutes. Two of the three spawn points are behind a barrier that you cannot break with your weapon. If you seize the northwest camp, a horse will spawn in the stable. Use the horse to bust through the barrier.

This fugitive was rather temperamental for me. One time it appeared at 2:12 while seizing the camp after defeating Kanetsugu. Every other time it would not appear until defeating either Keiji(second time) or Kasuga.

Flooding Ueda Castle (Attack)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Assault on Ueda Castle (Defence)
Defeat Kojoro Katakura.

Odawara Castle (Luck)
Seize all three camps within two minutes to lower the drawbridge. This will allow you to traverse the roof where the fugitive will spawn.

Kaerikumo Castle (Luck)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Battle of Tetorigawa (Defence)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Cliffs of Mikatagahara (Luck)
Open the gate guarded by Tadatsugu Sakai.

The Last Stand (Defence)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Sekigahara - Betrayal (Attack)
Defeat Tenkai within two minutes.

Sekigahara - Schemes (Attack)
Defeat Motochika Chosokabe

Sekigahara - Zero Hour (Attack)
Defeat Muneshige Tachibana and Yoshihiro Shimazu.

Sekigahara - Assembly (Defence)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Sekigahara - Ultimate (Defence)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Sekigahara Aftermath (Defence)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Sekigahara Intrusion (Luck)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Kanegasaki Nightmare (Attack)
Defeat Oichi three times.

Siege of Kanegasaki (Defence)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Incident at Honno-ji (Luck)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Osaka Winter (Attack)
Defeat the Death Carriage.

Retaking Osaka Castle (Defence)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Osaka: Tiger Summer (Attack)
Defeat Sasuke Sarutobi.

Osaka: Dragon Summer (Defence)
Defeat Kojoro Katakura

Saica Stronghold (Luck)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Siege of Karasu Castle (Luck)
The Fugitive will spawn in either Tenkai or Kobayakawa’s area, but you can only access one of them. You cannot hang back to see where it spawns either. If the Fugitive has not spawned after two minutes, reload the stage.

Gassantoda Castle (Luck)
Inflict damage upon Haruhisa Amago until he runs away to open the gate.

Battle of Itsukushima (Attack)
Open the gate.

Nakatomigawa Fortress (Defence)
Defeat the Rising Sun within two minutes.

Battle at Noshima (Attack)
Inflict damage upon Tsuruhime until she jumps to the Shrine Ship. It does not matter whether your allies or the enemy reinforcements reached the boat first.

Pirates of Noshima (Defence)
The fugitive will appear when the clock hits 2 minutes. No action is required on your part.

Mines of Ishigakibaru (Luck)
Lead the engineers to the debris to destroy it.

Hetsugigawa: Memories (Attack)
Open the gate.

Hetsugigawa: Heroes (Defence)
Open the gate.

Ambush at Mikawa (Luck)
Inflict damage upon Yoshihiro Shimazu until he goes into hiding.
